This week, we welcomed San Diego high school students to the inaugural Community Connection event. Thanks to the vision and leadership of Elisa Romero and Ines Mello-Simpson, students from local high schools attended two inspiring panel sessions featuring speakers from across the Sharp HealthCare system — including our own Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group team. The event concluded with a networking hour, giving students a chance to connect with panelists and explore the many career paths available in health care. We’re proud of this collaboration and look forward to fostering more connections with our local communities.
