Hotel
Situated in the vibrant Moinhos de Vento district on Rua Olavo Barreto Viana, Hilton Porto Alegre is a top-notch 5-star hotel offering a prime location for travelers. The hotel's proximity to Salgado Filho International Airport and the famous Calcada da Fama provides easy access to Moinhos Shopping, where guests can explore various boutiques, restaurants, cinemas, and shops.
Spacious rooms with large windows providing a view of the city. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. A large selection of dishes are available at the breakfast - traditional Brasilien dishes as well as a continental breakfast selection. The gym on the top floor is well equipped. Next to the gym a pool and two saunas are available. The next time I come to Porto Alegre I will definitely stay at the Hilton again.

The service was on point and the rooms were excellent. The housekeeping was timely and they did a good job tidying up the room during our absence. However, it is a bit on the expensive side with the miscellaneous requests like early check-in where almost half of a day's charge is taken. Without taking that into consideration, this is one of the best places to stay within Porto Alegre considering the prime location it is located in. Shops and a few places to visit are all within a few minutes by walking from this hotel. It is also located next to a mall which you can explore for your shopping needs.
Balasubramanian G — Google review
After I checked in. The room was small and felt old. I asked for a king bed vs two queen and he said no fully booked. But it was a lie as on their own website they showed availability for exactly king rooms at same price. So another guy came and they’re typing around and says we have king but it has carpet. Very old. More than 20 years not renovated. We wouldn’t take this room. But I said it’s fine I just rather a king bed. Once room changed, Turns out it was king bed with no carpet. They just lied and tried to get me to take this dingy room. Then in order room Service the next night at 9.30. The app said 30mins but it took an hour and when my ‘parsnip soup’ came it was like glue paste. Waiting an hour for a soup that was inedible. The girl Receptionist at the time was very nice but the hotel is not great and the food and some front desk workers also not great.
L Y — Google review
There are many restauranta and Cafes near hotel. Also moinhos Shopping is next to hotel and there’s direct access to mall from hotel. The room we stay is not newly furnished and the hotel is a pet friendly hotel- that was a downside for us as we are travelling with a seven months old baby and a 4 years old child- but overall we really like our stay and how helpful and kind the hotel staff is.

Large and nice room. Service very good. Highly recommend
Enio G — Google review
This hotel is slightly outdated and probably would need some refurbishment soon, but the hotel has one strength that outweighs it and it is the service here. The staff is the most helpful and friendliest you will meet not just in Brazil but of all the hotels I stayed at around the world. This is the reason I am coming back and always make Hilton my place when I go to Porto Alegre. Location is also very good with some nice restaurants within walking distance and in a safe neighbourhood. The breakfast at the hotel is great and if it just would update their rooms and facilities it would be amazing.
Andreas B — Google review
Hilton Porto Alegre is a very nice place to stay, especially for English-speaking visitors. Many staff members are fluent, making for an easier stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The on-site buffet breakfast has plenty of options. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Be sure to check out the nearby park, too. The only downside is the parking is valet only, so there's extra cost and extra planning required. They usually request 10-15 minutes' notice to have your car ready.
Brian N — Google review
Excellent hotel in a fabulous location! We stayed for 18 nights in May 2022. This is the very best hotel in Porto Alegre. Breakfast was great, with tons of food options and a huge selection of fruit. Our waiter Marco was so attentive, after the first morning he remembered our food and beverage preferences, he was super-efficient and very friendly. Extra big shout out to Giovanna in the executive lounge, she was so very friendly and welcoming. Many thanks to Milka at the reception, she made our stay extra special. Our room was excellent, clean, quiet, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fact that the Hotel is connected to Shopping Moinhos was a bonus. You can walk straight into the mall to go shopping, eat, drink coffee, go to Hugo Beauty (an excellent hair salon), or go to the movies. The hotel is in one of the best neighborhoods of Porto Alegre, Moinhos de Vento. Parcão (Moinhos de Vento Park) is only a block away; there are many great options of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops within a block or two from the hotel. We absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto Alegre and will definitely stay there again.

Hotel
Plaza São Rafael Hotel is a contemporary hotel in Porto Alegre, Brazil, offering chic rooms and suites with city views. The hotel features fine dining options and a spa for guests to relax and unwind. While some guests have had positive experiences at the hotel, others have noted a decline in quality during their recent stays. The 4-star hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions such as Porto Alegre Public Market and Sao Pedro Theatre.
We spent three nights at the hotel and it was a very lovely experience. The rooms are comfortable and the ones we had at the 15th floor were quiet and peaceful at night. The hotel itself is very clean and well taken care of. The staff at the entrance desk is very helpful and nice. The breakfast in the morning offers a good variety of options and none were disappointing. They offer fruits, cheeses, many kinds of bread and cakes, as well as juice, coffee, and water. They have a gym at the top floor that has enough equipment to continue with ur regular work outs while on vacation and offers complementary water. Near the gym is a pool, that admittedly is oddly shaped, but is nice for a little swim. But the even more attractive option was the outside heated pool with bubbles. Sitting in it felt so serene as the sun set on us and was one of the highlights of our trip. And you can use the pools and the gym until 10pm. The rooms were also properly serviced after we left them with a new set of clean towels and bath soap. When ordering food, the staff would alert us when it arrives and holds it for us to pick up at our convenience which was also nice. As for the locatiom of the hotel, it was super convenient for us to head by foot to various interesting places nearby such as museums or places to eat. And it is not far from anywhere by an uber call. Overall a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again given the option.
Ricardo K — Google review
The room size was not very big and the beds to sleep on were not very comfortable either. The pool design looked somewhat strange and it wasn't very big either. And the sauna had a large amount of bees flying around the filter (possibly building a bee hive near it). However, things that were good were the hotel staff serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and the hotel concierge. Also, the staff workers in the stores inside the hotel were extremely friendly and pleasant to talk too. But I was really confused as to why they can't serve ketchup in a bottle and only served it in packets at the buffet downstairs and the restaurant upstairs. Although, the polar beer they had in this hotel was phenomenally great. And the location of the hotel was in a very busy metropolitan area in downtown, with not much room to park cars and drive in and out of the hotel. But I guess based on how the infrastructure of how this city is designed, that's how they design things here. Overall, it's based on what your likes and dislikes are that can make a difference as to what what you will be satisfied with. If the room sizes were bigger and the beds were much more comfortable, it could have made the experience in the hotel much better.
Vik K — Google review
Staff: absolutely lovely, very thoughtful and on top of their game at all times. From check-in to check-out they were helpful and polite. Common areas: sparkling clean and noticably disinfected, with the exception of the pool area, where a lot of guests ware not wearing masks (even out of the water), all common areas were nice, had employees taking care of them and people were wearing masks and using the hand sanitizer provided. Room: Nice, clean and comfortable. The beds feel like sleeping in a cloud, very soft bedding, amazing mattress and pillows. (Ensuit) bathroom: clean and well equiped, but the towels are old-ish, and not as soft as I'm sure they once were. Toiletries provided: bars of soap, shampoo and conditioner, haircap, shoe shine, a baggie to dispose of menstrual products and tissue paper. Restaurant: worth every penny. The dishes as clearly pre-made by a chef and reheated in the kitchen because there is no way to change anything from the set menu. For example, the salmon risotto comes with a lot of bell peppers, one person in our party requested the risotto without the bell peppers but the server informed us that it was not possible to change anything. The dish was delicious at any rate. The staff was fantastic and all dishes we ordered came with no problems. Overall, this was a very nice experience.

Pleasant experience all around. Comfortable room, clean. Pool is mostly for laps, but nice to have. Breakfast was OK. Good service from valet parking, but it was not included with our stay.
Brian D — Google review
It's an awesome place. I went for an event and they have a good structure for big events and small ones. I have never slept there, it's kind of expensive. The location at night isnt really safe. Otherwise at day it's really good to visit the touristic places at Porto Alegre.

The hotel features an inviting outdoor pool and a terrace for relaxation after exploring nearby attractions like Beira-Rio Stadium and Iguatemi Shopping. Very close to bus station, across the street. About a 25 minute drive to airport in Porto Alegre. Rooms are comfortable and the bed was great. Needs a little more care. They have parking but it is paid, R$ 20 per night. Our room had a noisy air conditioner but the water in the shower was hot and plentiful. Overall a good stay. Depending on your budget and purpose, a good choice at the Hotel Continental.
Mark P — Google review
I recently stayed in a room with a great view of the bus station, which was a nice perk. However, there were a few drawbacks to my stay. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, and being on the 4th floor, the street noise was quite noticeable, especially at night, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shower drain was clogged, which was inconvenient. The food served was average - not the best, but edible. On the other hand, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate effectively. Overall, it was an okay stay, but with a bit of improvement, it could be even better.
Ej M — Google review
What a disaster room. The whole room is illuminated with only one led lamp and worst the window is facing a wall and making it even darker. I remembered I reserved a room with view to the city, and not to the wall. I paíd the most expensive rate and yet received the worst room. The bathroom smelled of mold. However the breakfast were delicious.
Chew W — Google review
Appalling hotel. No fridge in room; antiquated bathroom with dreadful shower; two single beds joined to make double; dirty room; miserable waiters who set the tone of the place. Only for those who like sub standards places to stay.
David P — Google review
Clean, well located (close to the bus station). Good. Location to spend a night when you need to go to another city next day. Breakfast included and well served.
Vini R — Google review
Good: decent food, wifi, Bad: it sounds like there is a high voltage transformer inside the rooms. It's so noisy so I had to sleep with ear plugs!!! It didn't help to change room as all the other rooms have same problem. Solution: bring extension cord and plug it in at the fridge. Then connect fridge, TV, charger and a lamp to the cord. That plug is powered up all the time 👍 Now remove the card from cartridge at door. The power will disappear, but so does the buzzing and the room is quiet again.
Kristian H — Google review
Hotel is alright. Staff are friendly but this doesn't detract from the fact the hotel is old and tired and slightly grubby. It may have been an excellent hotel at one time but that time has passed
Ian ( — Google review
Shamppo is good. Shower is ok. Beds are old and room facing the bus terminal is noisy till about 1am (5th floor). Breakfast is good.

Novotel Porto Alegre Airport is a modern and convenient hotel located near the airport, offering comfortable rooms with amenities like air-conditioning and free WiFi. The hotel features an indoor pool, spa, and a trendy bar/lounge serving great snacks and drinks. Despite its proximity to the airport, guests can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep without being disturbed by plane noise. The friendly staff provides excellent service, making it an ideal choice for a quick stopover.
The location, cleanliness, safety and food were amazing. The breakfast is a 10/10 every morning with gluten free cake and lactose free yogurt and milk options. It lasts until 1pm which is awesome if you have jet lag. The menu has everything translated in English. The cleaning staff was trust worthy and I didn’t feel the need to hide anything. The service was awesome, especially from Gyazi.
Ramon P — Google review
The best place near by Porto Alegre airport. The breakfast is a plus, Grazi is an amazing chef and the sweetest person! My son just loved her cookies. All the staff took really good care of us, specially friendly with kids. We’re definitely coming back.
Mariana B — Google review
Nice sized rooms at a decent price. The rooms were very clean. Good selection of breakfast and a convenient location. Good amount of parking but the ticket system to pay for it each day is annoying for foreigners. Would be much easier to bill it to the room than to pay the ticket every time you need to leave.
Nick G — Google review
Stayed here for a night before I flew back home. I’ve never left a bad review before, but felt I needed to in this instance. This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel, it’s maybe a 3 star hotel being made out to be a 4 star. The staff was pleasant, but the amount of broken and cheap appliances in this hotel was quite surprising. Just within our room, the shower head and hair dryer were broken. Even worse was the presence of some allergen or bacteria (it’s possible that it could be the bacteria that causes Legionnaires’ disease) in the vents. Upon turning the AC on later in the day, my girlfriend immediately started to fall ill with symptoms of congestion, headaches, and a cough. Upon leaving the room her condition immediately improved. We noticed other people with similar symptoms at breakfast. We realized she was in the room throughout the day and was totally fine and only started feeling horrible after I turned the AC on at night. Whether it’s just dust/allergen build up in the vents or something much more dangerous (bacteria) this is 1) Dangerous and 2) Something you wouldn’t expect at any hotel, let a lone a “4 star hotel”. This should probably inspected by somebody. The only saving grace that is totally outweighed by all the other negatives is the food. The breakfast was great and so was a lunch we had at the hotel. However, for the lunch we were the only people in the restaurant and ended up waiting 50 minutes for the food. The food would be the only 4 star quality this hotel has. Otherwise, everything is 3 or 2 star worthy. With all that said, whether you’re visiting from abroad or you are Brazilian, stay at a different hotel close to the airport. Especially if you are elderly or you have a compromised immune system. Hope this helps those of you who read it! The ultimate reason this gets one star from is the air vent dilemma.
Trevor P — Google review
5 min walk to the airport but a shuttle is also available. Good sized room, clean and tidy. Easy check in and check out. Refreshing swimming pool. Didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on it.

I stayed at Nototel for one week April of 2012 while visiting family in Porto Alegre. I really enjoyed my stay. The lobby and breakfast area looked new and clean. Very well appointed. I enjoyed a very nice breakfast buffet every morning. It was also nice that there is a bar in the lobby. I plan to stay again this next year.

The room was good, the receptionist was not good at all, I could only complain about his poor communication skills
Muhammed ب — Google review
This is a modern and well presented hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The girl at check in was able to get me into my room many hours early as it became available. Breakfast buffet was of a decent quality with an excellent range. The room was clean and comfortable, I could hear the neighbouring rooms shower when it was running for a few minutes each day. The pool/bar/garden area on the roof is also a nice place to retreat and read a book or take a nap in the sun. I’d book again!
Alister Z — Google review
Horrible!!! Wifi did not work at all in all my stay. I live in United States and I couldn't talk to my family on Facetime those days. I asked the Hotel to fix the internet problem as I don’t have a Brazilian data package, they tried, but it was not possible to resolve. Even the staff couldn't connect to the wifi in my room. They tried moving me to another room, but the wifi was as poor as the other one. Bathroom sink was clogged. Called for extra towels two times, never got them. Hair drier was broken. I asked them to remove the dirty dishes from the room, they never did, dishes were outside my room all night and day long! The thing is, when I tried to say all of it to the Hotel receptionist, he gave me thousands of excuses to my complains. Never he mention something like sorry or did seek help from any manager! Breakfast was the only thing good!

Hotel is located in a not safe Region and miss a security person close to the front door. Rooms are Refurbished recently even though its not have same comfort level considering the price, as well poor acoustic isolation. At breakfast I miss many thing as Yogurt, cream cheese, and Bread-cheese quality. None of the good things we used to have at Laghetto property or at its price level hotel. Prior the Pandemic I used to be only choosen Laghetto stay in Porto Alegre Region, but now I am reviewing it to other options as Deville or Blue Three.

We would recommend this flat for short or long term stay. The price is good, the place is well kept, staff is good, but few rooms still need to be updated, like bathrooms. So when you make a reservation, ask for one renovated bedroom. Every morning there is a breakfast buffet and it is also open to the public. Recommended.

Hotel's crew is awesome. Their main objective is to make you feel at home, but in a very nice home. Standard rooms are well equipped, so you may be quite comfortable. Superior rooms are quite bigger, thus making guests even more comfortable.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place. We were very well received. I love the house. It's an old but well-maintained building, with furniture made from recycled pianos, and the smell of wood and home. The kitchen is incredible, very spacious. The bathrooms are clean and pleasant. The location is a very nice neighborhood. The host, Daniel, is a very attentive person who was able to help us whenever we needed it. I don't understand Mr. Jose's one-star review, which says "horrible." Because as a traveler, I highly recommend this place.

Nestled in the vibrant Tres Figueiras district, Novotel Porto Alegre Tres Figueiras is a contemporary haven that perfectly blends comfort and convenience. Just a stone's throw from Carlos Gomes Avenue and a quick drive to Iguatemi Shopping Mall, this hotel boasts spacious rooms ideal for couples, families, or business travelers.
The location was great. it's connected to the hospital. The foods are amazing. .The only bad experience that I have was the 2 days no bath towels from the housekeeping. I took my shower using my clothes to dry my wet body.. this is the worst experience I ever had in my life. I always stay in many hotels in every place I stay.
Rog F — Google review
The hot air wasn't working, and when I asked for it to be repaired, the front desk team informed me it was a general hotel issue and couldn't be fixed. They also said there were no extra blankets available for my room. I requested to speak with the Manager but was told this wasn't possible. Consequently, I was cold for two nights and didn't sleep well, which affected my government meetings in Porto Alegre. If the hotel is under renovation, perhaps it would be better to close it. It was disappointing, to say the least. Unfortunately, Novotel is permanently off my list of options.
Andre D — Google review
Nicelly located, good accomodations, clean room, very good breakfast. There were three issues that made me give an 8. First is that they are on maintenance of some rooms, and they start early and end late ... very very annoying. Second was the difficult of mixing the hot and the cold water in the shower. And third was the wifi signal that was low and inconsistent.
Alexandre H — Google review
My hotel room smelled bad, like a strong mold, i even asked to change it. the reception lady was very rude but changed my room, the new room also had the mold smell but it was weaker than the other one.
Vinicius M — Google review
Very disappointed with Novotel, I never imagined Novotel could have such low standards. The room was not cleaned, there was dust on surfaces and hair on the bathroom floor. The reception is nonresponsive, unwilling to provide a good service. The only good thing about the stay was the breakfast. I do not recommend and won't be coming back.
Yamuna K — Google review
Location was great. We went with a big group and check in took almost 2 hours. Also, room 1159 does not lock. My door was open during my entire stay.
Derek D — Google review
I am a man married to a man who had a reservation for a double bed room but they gave me a room with two single beds and told me I could not change because "of the marathon" (?). Every service was delivired late or poorly: room cleaning, room service, restaurants... They were clearly understaffed as everyone was always rushing to do some thing else. Hotel is going through renovations and room was extremely noisy through the day.
Lucas G — Google review
The hotel facilities are super old and defective (the hair dresser was not working, I had trouble opening the door, everything seemed from three decades ago...). There are newer rooms but only a few and always booked. The hotel employees are limited to help you but not to eager to as well.

Situated just 800 meters from Salgado Filho International Airport, the hotel boasts an advantageous location only 15 minutes from the city center.
One of the best Hotel in Porto Alegre even in Brazil. They are helpful kind and supportive.I required 1500pm late checkout and they accepted without even thinking a second.Have shuttle to airport back and forth. Just only there are some tiny tiny flies and bugs on tables and restaurant. Thats the only simple thing to improve.Other than that its 5 stars hotel almost.

This place is past it’s prime. The look is a little shabby and definitely nowhere close to a 5-star. The hygiene at this time was severely lacking 👎🏻. The remote control had a sticky glob of something it and I was then obliged wipe the bedside table that was dirty and brown on the alcohol Impregnated wipe : not reassuring at all during this pandemic .. The bed and room size is ample here. Bed was comfortable. Parking costs around 20 R$/ day. Food in the restaurant for our evening option was average. Pasta sauce was lacking in flavour. Breakfast was abundant and there was much choice. The quality was average. A big plus 👍 is the proximity to the airport and catching early or late flights. There is a pool and area to sit outside that was pleasant to catch some sunlight after breakfast. Upgrading is due though through these times it’s tough for all travel related businesses… thanks :)
Chris H — Google review
The hotel is likely the best in Porto Alegre with respect to quality and luxury, from my taste even better than the Hilton. So, room quality, sleeping comfort, service, interior, outside area and breakfast are best. For a very reasonable price. The one "but" is the location. You cannot simply walk off to some nice neighborhood, as there is no neighborhood. On the hand, it is very close to or actually at the airport, and the even provide a free shuttle. So it really depend: If you are looking for the best hotel in Porto Alegre, this is it. With the additional pluses of closeness to airport and reasonable price. But if you want to stroll around for some coffee shops or shopping in some nice Porto Alegre neighborhood, you might prefer a hotel say in Moinhos de Vento or downtown.
MEGA C — Google review
I enjoyed my stay here for multiple nights. It is clean, close to the airport, and easy to navigate for international travelers. The food is local, flavorful and reasonably priced. I actually ate at the bar a few times as the bartenders were able and willing to speak English to me while I dined alone. I would say they need higher bar stools, as I felt like a kid eating at the bar. :) I would recommend this hotel to any international traveler in Porto Alegre.
Matt W — Google review
Great hotel with bilingual staff willing to help at any request. The food is very good and a wide variety for breakfast buffet. The dinner was spectacular. Not much of a view from the windows as it is in the middle of very populated area. The pool is outdoor in a beautiful setting, but unfortunately for me it rained both days I stayed there and was unable to enjoy it.

Work had brought me into the Porto Alegre area with an online search letting me find Hotel Deville on the short list. Quick access to the highway and close to the airport. Don't recall air traffic noise though. Comfortable, clean and excellent amenities. The great breakfast included kept me running for the day. Certainly can recommend this hotel to the business traveller as well as a conference location.

Close to the airport but far from everything else, this hotel offers very nice food (albeit a bit expensive) - including an excellent breakfast but lacks in providing a comfortable stay. The rooms are noisy, you can hear everything from the corridor and the airport. Small tv. The toiletries are so so, the service is ackward, intrusive sometimes (I understand that they might contact you to check if everything is okay, but after EVERY time you order something from the restaurant?). I also didn't like the mattress, too soft... the hotel also has a nice sized gym and a pool. But nothing special here. In general, a good option but only for a short stay. The food is really worth it.

This hotel was so grand back in its day but still excellent in an old fashioned kind of way. The location is very convenient but a bit scary a nighttime. Rooms were clean and the breakfast good.

It was fine. We had a bad experience at reception. Even though it was our fault (we forgot some documents), they could have treated us better. The price was really expensive compared to some other hotels I've been in. And for how expensive it was, the room quality was totally average. We ordered dinner from room service, and it was passable. Better to eat out though. The breakfast was the best part of it. Nice that it's right next to the bus station, easy to get around the city.

Very nice hotel with a amazing history. On the 90's they were considered one of the most traditional hotels in the city. Me and my family are clients here for more than 30 years. Good service. Good offer of food at the restaurant. Parking (with extra cost), swimming pool at the rooftop, with a amazing view for the city. Also good location. Located at downtown, in front of the bus station. Only 20min. walking until the Guaíba river.

Very pleasant place. I had some one getting me from the car 🚘 hire. It appears very friendly . Customer service very professional . I do advise any one to book a night in. Specially if you are near the aeroport .

The hotel is simple but it's enough for an airport hotel style. The breakfast was offered inside the run because of the coronavirus pandemic and was pontual. My only issue was that my room was facing the urban train line, so early in the morning was a bit noisy, although the windows have an extra layer against external noise.

One of the best services I received ever in a hotel. Location is amazing. Rooms are relatively small and self parking is difficult, better to leave to the valet. An amazing cost benefit. We loved it
J. L — Google review
A real disappointment and clearly very badly managed. Great location but everything else very poor. This is not a 4 star hotel, more verging on 2 maybe 3 on a good day. Generally reception staff really nice and helpful. Breakfast boring especially after staying 5 days. No variation from day to day. Staff helping themselves to large plates of food whilst guests still trying to help themselves - never seen this anywhere. The worst thing though was housekeeping and the rooms themselves. We upgraded to a suite as the normal rooms were very small and uninspiring. Suite was awful. Sofa dirty and room not clean generally. Room tired and old. Mattress dirty. Sheets didn’t fit the mattress so you woke up lying directly on the mattress. Sheets were paper thin and pillows smelly. Bathroom has a terrible smell the entire 5 days we stayed. You have to literally climb over a brick wall to get into the shower which was particularly dangerous if the floor was wet. No shower gel in the shower, just shampoo and conditioner - not sure what you are meant to shower using? Really stupid toilet roll dispensers that aren’t fit for purpose and you land up pulling out twice as much as if there had been a normal toilet roll. Don’t recommend. Won’t be back.
William R — Google review

The place is well located and cozy. Good breakfast, good front desk service. The room is OKish (quite small though), unfortunately housekeeping is not that good, and sadly the Internet is quite bad. If you need to work from the hotel, you might be in trouble.

BEAUTIFUL hotel. Clean rooms. Basic amenities. Free WiFi that works well and multiple electric outlets. Quiet street. Lovely location to walk to restaurants and bars. Relatively small hallways and rooms but not a major issue and to be expected since it’s an older building

Didn't get value for money: half-hearted housekeeping, average rooms and they charge extra for items such as bottled water and adapters. Impressive building (though not the rooms), but they don't seem to care much about impressing guests with the level of service. Disappointing.

I have been in this hotel for a social event, not for the overnight, but since the entrance you can notice it is well decorated and clean. (Translated by Google) I am writing to report an extremely unpleasant situation that occurred today at reception. As soon as I checked in, the room access card I had just received didn't work. I had to immediately return to reception, with my luggage and a child, to ask for help. Instead of simply resolving the problem, the attendant was rude and disrespectful. He stated, in a reprimanding tone, that the card "shouldn't have been put in the bag" and that if it didn't work, it was "my fault." This statement, besides being inappropriate, is completely unreasonable: if the hotel uses cards so sensitive that they can't even be put in a bag without discharging, then the quality of the system is extremely questionable. In that case, perhaps it would be safer and more coherent to return to the use of traditional keys, which at least work without causing inconvenience to the guest. At a time when I needed support, I received only blame and rudeness. The responsibility for providing a functional card lies with the hotel, and it is not up to the guest to be reprimanded for a problem they did not cause. I request that this situation be evaluated and that the team receive adequate training and guidance to prevent other customers from experiencing the same embarrassment.

(Translated by Google) The hotel has a great location, about 20 minutes from the airport and near the Unisinos Theater, which was a 10-minute walk away (I attended an event there). The room is old but quite spacious, the bed very comfortable, everything apparently clean despite the carpeted floor. The bathroom is huge but has a bathtub that doesn't work; it was under maintenance, but it didn't compromise the experience as there's a shower stall. The room has a mini-fridge, and arriving at night was a lifesaver having water and hot chocolate available to buy, considering everything nearby closes after 8 pm. The breakfast is very simple, with few options and nothing apparently delicious; it's a fairly average breakfast. The service is OK, neither good nor bad. I practically only slept at the hotel, so I rate it from average to good, but if I needed to stay longer and require more services, my experience would certainly be "neutral".

This hotel is at very prime location, staff is very Cooperative, i stayed here last year and this is my 2nd time in brazil, I did not find any other hotel having comfort like this hotel has and the staff here is very friendly Specially Ana helped a lot in booking the same room in which i stayed last year, Thanks Ana for your support and you really speak muito bem english, it helped me to communicate easily.

The entrance is confusing, you should go where the laptops are and wait for someone to appear. The safe did not work and they could not replace it until the following day, but I advised I needed specially for that day that was not working. They said I could store my belongings downstairs, which I felt uneasy and took them with me. Be aware that sheets and towels are not replaced everyday. I only found out about this on the second day, because I’ve noticed the towels were wet, and there was a sign next to the bed and another one in the bathroom stating that to preserve the environment they would not replace towels or sheets unless you throw everything on the floor before you leave the room (which was not there in the first day!). By the way I was using a comforter which had not been washed for a while, I thought I was crazy, but then I realized that probably the previous occupant had used it and they did not wash it. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable before, and of course I asked them to replace it. The bathroom was dirty (the walls, specially the shower head, and even the toilet was not properly cleaned). They did not provide hand soap until I asked. The tv was not working, and the mini fridge was barely hanging. The floor in the room also didn't seem to be cleaned every day. The room was so dark (in the night, because of the lights) that I could barely find my things. The bottom bunkbed had so little space I felt I was in a coffin. I threw the mattress on the floor so I could finally sleep. The guy from the restaurant downstairs acted like he was doing us a favor, while it was just us that evening and he took his sweet time to take our order. The only good thing I can say about this place is the front desk guy (Lorenzo), who was really nice. Definitely not going back to this hotel.

The hotel is amazing. Close to a lot restaurants and cafes. The crew is like family and they are always available for everything you need. Breakfast delicious and with lots of variety. Definitely when we return to Porto Alegre we will stay there. Schramm family

Lovely hotel. Really cool decor in the public spaces. For the price they are asking for I'd expect more in the rooms. They are big but bare. Maybe extend the murals in to the rooms? We got the room cheap because it was during its soft opening, im happy at this price but at the full price I rather stay somewhere else a bit more swanky.
Fairy O — Google review
There's a wall in front of the reception. There is literally no way to see the receptionist and the service was very slow. Rock music and products for sale confused me and I didn't know if it was really the Hotel entrance or not. You need to take the Swan Molinos website down, so people don't get confused when buying a stay, because that's the OLD name of the Hotel and the OLD room photos are still there. It should be 100% clear that it is a hostel on the website. Need faster service from the staff, I sent a message by whatsapp asking to change the bed and they took 30 minutes to respond. I couldn't use the electronic locker, it would be much more practical if I could simply open it with the card or, for much safer reasons and to avoid the possibility of not being able to open the locker, use a KEY instead. 1 bathroom for a room with 8 beds is not enough, in the case of a completely full room, there should be at least two restrooms. Finally, it would be great if you lowered the price of breakfast a little, it's 40 reals.

Really great staff at this refreshed Swann Hotel. Clean rooms. Nice hot and cold breakfast. Good free wifi. Interesting new concept hotel with lots of great energy. Centrally located and close to New York street, Tok Stock, Moinhos Mall, Parcão, and the City Centro is only 4km (safe walk as I did).

The Art Hotel Transamerica Collection in Porto Alegre is a luxurious hotel located in the Bela Vista district. The modern interior decor and beautifully remodelled rooms offer guests a comfortable stay with amenities such as Smart TV, free WiFi, air conditioning, and a minibar. The hotel also provides impeccable service and delicious breakfast, making it an excellent choice for travelers looking for a high-level experience.
Great hotel. AMAZINGGGG SERVICE and fantastic food. Highly recomend

The breakfast service at this hotel did not meet expectations. The eggs were consistently undercooked and often unavailable during peak hours. Furthermore, the dinner service was slow, with wait times ranging from 30 to 45 minutes. There were also concerns regarding the housekeeping service, including the potential misuse of personal items and a lack of thoroughness in the cleaning of the room, as well as the absence of provided washcloths. Overall, the experience was deemed unsatisfactory.

Room AC not good. Its very noisy
Shahnur S — Google review
(Translated by Google) The hotel is very well located, in a good neighborhood, close to a supermarket and restaurants. Breakfast was good. Regarding the room, mine was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the blackout was good, and there was an iron. However, the cleanliness was incredibly lacking, and the bathroom was completely unmaintained! There was a dirty spot on the carpet, a sequin, that remained from the day I arrived until the day I left. They didn't even vacuum it. And it wasn't even mine; it was already there when I arrived. The bathroom didn't have a mat; I had to call reception and ask for one. The face towel hadn't been changed in three days. They didn't mop the bathroom floor once, nor did they sweep it. I know this because I dried my hair that morning, and a few strands fell on the floor, and they stayed there for the entire stay (three days). The toilet paper holder was broken, and they left the paper holder lying around in the bathroom, as well as the hand shower holder. The shower is very good, but there's pooled water in the shower stall. What had everything to be good, due to lack of care and maintenance, became bad.

(Translated by Google) The location is great. In one of the best neighborhoods in Porto Alegre. There are several cool things nearby. The room we stayed in (Business Class Apartment) was very spacious, with several amenities that are truly useful in a hotel (minibar with some drinks for sale, electric kettle, capsule coffee machine, some snacks for sale, ironing board, safe, and a place to hang clothes). Breakfast hours are quite long, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The staff we met were always very friendly. The gym is beautiful, completely renovated, and very well equipped. The pool area is also beautiful! Small points that could be improved: the valet parking logistics can sometimes cause multiple people to arrive at the same time, requiring a long wait. Breakfast is relatively small for the size of the hotel, and at peak times the experience may not be as pleasant. In our case, it was so busy, and it was noticeable that the staff were overwhelmed, to the point that we didn't feel comfortable ordering any of the options on the menu (omelettes, tapioca, avocado toast). The cakes we tried weren't good (but it could have been the day, or the time; we went around 10:40 a.m., almost late). We had two requests during the early morning hours (we asked for a towel, as there was only one in our room, and also for the air conditioning control, which was malfunctioning; some functions worked and others didn't), and neither request was met. My husband went downstairs to get the towel, and we left the air conditioning control as it was, adjusting the temperature as we saw fit. Regarding cleanliness, there's also room for improvement. But I want to make it clear that these are minor details, as we would definitely return. As I said before, they're just areas for improvement. (Original) A localização é ótima.

(Translated by Google) They catfish the photos; in person, the hotel looks run down. The floor mats even look a little dirty, the elevator is old, and my room had a problem with the drains because the water drained very slowly. You have to go to the front desk if you need more blankets; they don't leave any extra ones in the room. The pool area is nice but not heated. The highlight is the location. The breakfast buffet is good in terms of flavor, but I found it lacking in variety. I don't think it's a 4-star hotel; I consider it a 3-star.

We stayed at the hotel in porto alegre in September 2023 and had 2 rooms. Unfortunately the rooms need a bit updating. However the service received was excellent and the food was excellent.

The positive points of this hotel are: the staff is very friendly and the location is good. The negative points are: the restaurant is very expensive and the food is not so good; you can't open any of the windows of the rooms; the only place you can access the outside is at the lobby; and the lobby of this hotel is small, not modern nor much comfortable. The rooms are clean and the view is nice, but there are better options in Porto Alegre.

Take uber and go somewhere better. We chose this hotel for being at a walking distance from the airport, as we were to land at 1am after 20+ hours of international flights. Breakfast was good, room was clean, shower is fine, walking distance from the airport, and the good ends here. 1 - Check-in was painfully slow, it seems to me that the clerk has to juggle with multiple windows and spend 10 min doing 500 clicks for a reserve that was prepaid and I had checked in online many hours before. I wonder what kind of mess is their IT department, especially troubling for such a large network of hotels. 2 - Bed was uncomfortable, and beddings were too small for the bed, sheet came off the mattress immediately for being too short. 3 - The thermostat for the AC has 5 buttons and no description, there’s no guide in the bedroom either. I spend several minutes juggling with it, and even as I set a temperature and that stayed set correctly, the system operated all or nothing, ignoring the set temperature. When I woke up in the morning, the room was at 17.5C, while I had set it to 21.5C. Now I have a sore throat because of that, thanks!!! 4 - there’s no pedestrian entrance. You walk by the driveway and twist your body to avoid hitting the gate (cancela).. Then you cross the parking lot to get to the main entrance. 5 - there’s no water fountain, no complimentary water, and the only water you can buy is ridiculously small and pricey 350ml cans (yes, canned water, believe it or not! In a poor country!). That’s insane! Do you have any idea on the energy requirements to produce aluminum? The environmental cost, come on!

The hotel features an inviting outdoor pool, a sauna for unwinding after a long day, and a well-equipped fitness center to keep up with your workout routine. Although my first impression of the hotel, as I walked into my assigned room, was of disappointment (the pictures were somewhat misleading), I liked the hotel overall. The breakfast was good. The neighborhood is rundown but it is within walking distance to the train station. I would stay here again.
Jason C — Google review
I could recommend this hotel for stay in Porto Alegre. I find it very nicely refurbished and remade, fully fitting 4 stars, like international not Brazilian 4 stars standard. This hotel could compete with many 5 stars hotels locally, and definitely worth of it's money. For 200 R$ per night for double room with queen size bed you receive a very well served and tasty breakfast, an outdoor swimming pool,a gym, a sauna, a business centre ( a corner with a computer), a parking. The hotel also offers a portier and a room service. Location is close to the airport, but for Porto Alegre It 8s not so far from the centre, and even better, because less traffic. There is a restaurant and cafe on the ground floor next to the reception. The room is great, a great great plus it is a modern and efficient AC, good WiFi, good TV so you can connect your devices ones you have, very good anti-sun blackout curtains and a stunning bathroom. I rated 4 , because I would like them to improve some things: they do not speak English, which for airport close located hotel is a minus, the iron board is only one and in a quite poor condition, so for the business travelers is an issue, and room service only until 12:30 am, so when you travel in the night, having layover is quite inconvenient to eat snacks from the bar, and when you are not from here, you don't know how to order food online. I think a kitchen 24h is must have for the airport hotel. I think these points will improve a lot your occupancy. Thanks a lot for a stay!!!

On 28th-August, 2022, I stayed at this hotel for my business trip. Unbelievably, they rejected to provide the invoice, with a lot of excuse. Their promise is just on mouth but no action at all. A very bad experience. Their sorry cannot compensate any cost of time and money on me.
Wei-Zhe H — Google review
The hotel is not that bad in facilities and it is conveniently close to the airport. I rate it with one star because of the poor cleaning in the rooms. The bed sheets were not changed (hairs & stains were clearly seen), the shower was clogged and there’s music in the halls of each floor that you can hear in your room (why??). I will not stay here again and don’t recommend.
G C — Google review
Bad service, nothing works, ineducated person at restaurant reception (yesterday evening), room service 40 mint to wait, tv not working in two different rooms

Nice room, good location even closer to the airport no airplane sound. Of you get your reservation from the website you may get a R$10,00 voucher for lunch or dinner.
Uillians C — Google review
Nice enough hotel, my complaint is that I made the reservation online for myself and my colleague (2 rooms), received a confirmation with a discount of R$10 on the restaurant, at the restaurant every table was promoting the R$10 discount for online reservations so I figured it was valid, upon checking out they could not give me the discount as I did not ask for the voucher first. I think there are better hotels closer to the airport (Novotel, Ibis) who will deliver want they promote.

Very well located hotel in Porto Alegre. It's close to restaurants, markets and shopping malls. It's about 10 to 15 minutes from the International Airport. Decent enough hotel. More investment in WiFi bandwidth needed. When hotel is full internet freezes. One of 3 elevators was out of service during my entire 5 night stay. Restaurant runs out of dishes during breakfast if many guests eating at same time.

If you are an English traveler. Be careful, they told me a price for the entire stay which was booked online but they they charged me the same price per night. They do not speak any other languages, except Portuguese. Breakfast is good but if you are above 6ft then the single beds might not fit you. My feet hung over and i am under 6ft. Room was good. Location is great, Rooftop gym + pool is amazing.

This is a good hotel. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to be in a good location in Porto Alegre during vacations. However, with the people who I was traveling with took the space in the queen bed and I had to sleep on the sofa couch. I wasn’t able to work out the TV also. And in the room I was at we had a window that had a metal grate that made a screaming noise every-time wind passed by. Shower is outdated but reliable. Good hotel and nice views. But obviously there are better hotels but this one is reliable and relatively low cost.

The restaurant is terrible, I waited 1,5 hour for tasteless cold broccoli, extreme salty chicken and split tasteless sauce... But the rooms and service are ok. The beds are a bit short, I'm 1,80 and my feet are sticking out.. So if you don't eat here you will have a pretty good stay.

Best place. Good food. Polite employees. Beautiful hall
Vítor S — Google review
The owners need to make a urgent refurbishment in the rooms. Air conditioning old and noisy and doesn't cover all parts of the room. Rooms with a old like smell, including the bed sheets. Limited room service and a very poor breakfast.
João M — Google review
Located in the old part of the city, bit overall good hotel. Parking is 2 blocks away that's the only bad thing.

Located in one of the upscale neighborhoods of Porto Alegre, ibis Porto Alegre Moinhos de Vento offers unfussy yet comfortable rooms at an affordable rate. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and the option for breakfast and dinner featuring local cuisine.
Friendly staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Dinner was nice as well. The hotel is walking distance to a public gym, restaurants, supermarket, and mall.
Alexander M — Google review
Ok here is my honest review Pro: it’s in a comparably and sensibly safe area, walkable to nice restaurants and walks to parks It’s just like the photo on their website I don’t think they added any filter The free breakfast was good The staff are very friendly The place feels clean Cons: I think the room decor needs an immediate update. It feels outdated Front desk doesn’t speak English, except for the afternoon shift There is a another ibis style about 5 min away and it’s easy to confuse with that one. And that one seem to be nicer with same price Lastly, there is almost no amenities in the hotel, no gym so it’s good I guess an overnight stay not really resort
Sheng C — Google review
room size and standard Ibis furniture, the shower was good, cleanliness ok, but the mattress was quite worn (a bit crooked, very soft)
Claudia D — Google review
Extremely unfortunate experience. I accidentally booked a room for the wrong date (Booked for the 27th on the 28th) and immediately called the hotel to get it fixed. At first they were very courteous though they couldn’t solve my problem as the reservation wasn’t showing on their system. I contacted them by phone later that day to once again try to solve it and once again they couldn’t find the reservation to fix it. I decided it was better to go there in person and was completely disappointed with how bad their customer service is and how poorly their staff is trained. When I got there I explained the situation and they said there was nothing they could do since the reservation was expired. The person then went on with the explanation claiming they tried to contact me to fix it but they couldn’t (since I do not live in Brazil and do not have an active phone number though they had my e-mail address) so they simply altered the date without me asking for it nor having my explicit consent and didn’t inform me. My money is now in the garbage and they don’t move a finger to try to help me. Carolina gave me a strong attitude and decided it was better to argue with me in the middle of the lobby about whose fault it was rather than solve the situation they caused by changing my reservation and barely even trying to get in touch with me. Truly unbelievable!!
João V — Google review
I had a very pleasant stay overall. The staff were professional and courteous, and I really liked the room itself. The location is excellent, making it very convenient. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it seems the previous guest had smoked near the window, leaving some residue on the outside of the window frame, which was a bit surprising when I opened it. There was also a slight smell of smoke in the room, which was a little disappointing. I asked the front desk about changing rooms, but unfortunately, there were no vacancies. Even so, I would recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
Satoshi O — Google review
The dinner is horrible! There is no options, and the few dishes have terrible quality and taste. There is no gym or pool in the hotel (it should have for the price they charge). There is not even conditionator in the shower! And the plugs are all 220v, if you have some eletronic that requires a 110v, you cant use in here.
Natália F — Google review
No frills, you get what you pay for. What I don't like: the characterless rooms, nearly inexistent toiletries, not even a hand towel, only bath towels. But you get decent internet, and the location is great.
Aluisio B — Google review
Well located in a quiet street in a nice neighbourhood. Rooms are small but comfortable, staff was very helpful and there are taxis just outside most of the time.

The hotel is well located for my purposes. It's close to the mall, a sports club and the airport. The rooms are clean and spacefull. The big problem comes when you need to eat, because there are no restaurants inside the hotel.

The Swan Porto Alegre hotel offers 4-star accommodation with a gym and a restaurant. It is located 10 minutes from the city centre. The rooms are elegantly decorated, but the maintenance seems to have been neglected in the past.
Reception was very helpful and understanding to foreigners. I'd give them a 6/5 if i could. Service was also very good. The rooms are also neatly furnished but with visible defects on the walls and fixings.
Jerric F — Google review
Nice hotel. A little older, reasonably priced The breakfast buffet was very good, as was the lunch buffet. Definitely recommended for meals or for the night.

Hotel not renovated, old rooms and not super clean. Fridge not working and even after complain, nothing has been done. Hotel in decadence.

Quality Hotel Porto Alegre is a delightful retreat nestled in the charming Moinhos do Vento district, just a short distance from Salgado Filho International Airport. This laid-back hotel boasts spacious rooms adorned with large windows that offer stunning views of either the park or the vibrant cityscape. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and unwind at the on-site café, gym, and sauna. The atmosphere here is welcoming, thanks to an attentive staff that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay feels like home.
I had an amazing experience with this hotel. I arrived one day later than expected, after a busy day of research, and the staff was very happily helping me find a new room. They truly made me feel at home, and I was feeling very happy. The room was huge and beautiful, clean and new and I received a free drink from the bar! The breakfast is small but has some good options and they were all delicious. I enjoyed my short time here. The hotel was right in the middle of town as well, close to some nice shops, restaurants and cafes.
Lui C — Google review
A bit aged hotel, it deserves a new painting...but the location is great, in front of Moinhos de Vento public park...a green oasis in the middle of Porto Alegre. The breakfast is good... and plenty of restaurants around...good option if you are coming to Porto Alegre
Alex Y — Google review
Overall it's a very nice hotel, good room, very comfortable bed, good staff. However, I did find a few conservation issues, like the shower faucet handles (they fell quite a few times) and weak door springs (it didn't close completely by itself -- I only noticed later that I left the door slightly open at least two nights). But overall I'd recommend it. Great location also.
Erico M — Google review
Comfortable rooms, clean.....the breakfast is good but nothing special......Employees are friendly! All together I can recommend the hotel to stay in Porto Alegre. The location is well beside a park and close to some bars to get out at night.

Quality is a great hotel with a nice restaurant option, specially in Fridays (even for visitors/not guests). "Parcão" is in the other side of the street (but sadly not the better side of the Park - take care and watch out at night).

Good overall experience. It was all about location (not great, but near my appointment). I’ve got one big bed and sufficient amenities. The shower was good. The entire room is not big, but for me only, it was ok. Elevators are slow. Breakfast was decent, but both juices served tasted bad. People there were kind.
