This place is an Outlet, a real one. The structure, the disposition of the buildings, stores and food courts follows the same rules of those are there in U.S. Good place to shopping
Assis H — Google review
Nice outlet but some shops the prices are the same as Main Street
Vinicios M — Google review
Reasonable prices, not that attractive. Too hot, the place requires more trees and plants to be more pleasant. Or change the whole buzz for a closed/indoor place, a.k.a. mall.
Rodrigo F — Google review
A lot of shoes, that's what this shopping centre is about. The outlets are not as cheap or as discounted as they should be though, given the outlet name. It has a good food court. It has free parking.

Legal!
Aerton G — Google review
I recommend this place for a big choice of shops of local and international brands, where you can find a good quality stuff in affordable prices, even comparing to Europe, these prices are very fair.
Olga K — Google review
Seems too big from outside but it has not too many options. Rather expensive as well
Lean — Google review
This is an open shopping mall, so I don't recommend to go when it's raining. There are many good stores, but some are expensive even it's supposed to be an "outlet".

(Translated by Google) I love visiting the Sanctuary of the Mothers of Novo Hamburgo. This sacred place, besides being beautiful, is a place where I feel the peace of the Lord. The space around the church is very large, with lots of nature. There are benches to sit and contemplate creation. Since it is at the top of the hill, you can also see a good part of the city. In short, it is an experience that I highly recommend to Catholics and non-Catholics. 🙏🥰 (Original) Adoro visitar o Santuário da Mães de a Novo Hamburgo. Since the church sits on the highest point in the city, you have a wonderful view. The place exudes peace and tranquility, and you can contemplate the wonders of God. I was visiting Novo Hamburgo, and this was one of my favorite spots. I visited the church's Instagram and managed to attend a mass. I took an Uber there and back. If you're taking an Uber, be mindful of the time. (Original) O lugar é lindo! A igreja é linda tanto por fora quanto por dentro. Vinícola Aurora is a historic winery established in 1931, offering guided tours and tastings in a beautifully restored cellar with vaulted arches. It is Brazil's largest and most acclaimed winery, known for its commercial accessibility. The cooperative began with 16 families and has since become a prominent name in the industry. Visitors can enjoy an excellent tour experience, led by knowledgeable guides like Julia who provide insightful commentary during tastings.
Free entrance ! Very kind worker! I got a private tour as I did not speak Portuguese. The tour guide was in English and at the end there is a wine tasting of 7 bottles aprox. The interior decoration is beautiful with Greek Gods, saints for protection, and shows all the flags of exporting countries in descending order! Really worth it and at the end you can buy bottles at a discount.

An excellent experience. Special thanks to "Julia" who was our guide and doing her first English speaking tour - she was fantastic. We arrived for a tour in the early afternoon and were lucky to be in a small group of 2. Julia gave us an excellent guided tour and then we went to a private tasting room. The wines, and Julia's commentary, were first class. We were allowed to taste some special wines. We really enjoyed it. The tour was free, and we bought some wine to take away.

The tour is totally FREE of charge and it is amazing. In Bento Goncalves, a city with a rich heritage, the Parque Temático Epopeia Italiana stands out as a must-visit attraction. This indoor theme park brings to life the story of Italian immigrants who arrived in southern Brazil in 1875 through a 45-minute historical and cultural reenactment.
It is like to be in a class learning about how Italians migrate to Brazil. Every station of the presentation is very well explained in detail about their journey from Italy to Brazil. The scenery is very nice and can lead you back to those days when they came to Brazil. I highly recommend.

If you would like to know the history of Italian immigration in Brazil, this is a good place. You walk through old houses and villages and hear an Italian character talking about the trip, very interesting.

The property also features charming inns and a restaurant, providing guests with the opportunity to dine, enjoy wine, and relax without having to leave the premises. Today we stopped just for the store and look around. It is even beautiful than was years before. We went to tasting a few grapes to choose which buy. The sales guy was extremely kind and explained very well the difference between the grapes. Totally recommend. I would highly recommend the visitation, I did a few times in the past and it is really nice and beautiful. Try their nature sparkling it is amazing

Casa Valduga is one of those places in the world that you can not miss! I visited this winery in May 2025, during my trip to the Vale dos Vinhedos area. Their hospitality, food, and, more importantly, the quality of the wine is unavailable!! You must try their sparkling wine called 130 Blanc de Blancs. It is to die for! BTW, Luisa Valduga is the best host ever, and their wine cellar is out of this world!

Amazing winery where is one of the most famous one in Brazil. We can enjoy tasting with a lot of options including rare wine. Their wines are fruity, tasty, and simple good. In addition, we can have cuisine in their restaurant. It is course menu, but we can choose each food with several options.
Papipupenta — Google review
Every single person from Valduga treated us graciously and respectful, without rush, teaching us about everything we asked about. We were awarded a very funny and long chat with one of the owners, Mr. João Valduga, who more than just explain about the place, made thousand of good jokes, promoting the same sensation of being in a small and familiar winery. Most important! They have a cute dog called Nero waling over there

Casa Valdua's tour was an amazing experience (even though I bought the cheapest one). We went through Casa Valdua's history while walking inside the their cave. Also, we tried a select set o wines and champagne. We could see their special cave where Gregorian music is played to the wine. In the end we had short tour outside Casa Valduga.

Miolo Winery is a renowned and spacious winery located amidst picturesque rolling hills, offering visitors the chance to indulge in wine tastings and historical tours. As the largest winery in Brazil, it provides an exceptional experience with informative guided tours that delve into the details of winemaking. The knowledgeable staff ensures a pleasant visit, while the option for wine tasting allows guests to receive credit at the store.
This is the biggest winery in Brazil. I took the tour with the guide and she explained everything to me in details. Before the end of the tour, they teach you how to drink the wine. Definitely recommended
Muhammed S — Google review
Absolutely a deception in regards of presentation and expectation. Perhaps my expectation was really high, but I definitely was expecting much more of a vineyard like Miolo. I love the scooters collection. But the person presenting the history and the wine fabrication was so robotic and not passionated about the products, productions and the history itself. A pity! Hope they can improve.
Gil M — Google review
Years ago I used to come quite often.. I did the tasting, visitation etc. this year I went just to buy one specific wine (Lote 43). I wanted to try other wines (specifically the pinot noir. For my surprise they told us they don’t do more tasting of single bottles and you have to do the paid tasting. They would allowed me to do to the tasting without the visitation, but when I asked which wines were included they would not tell. But basically pinot noir would not be one of them. So what’s the purpose? You go to a winery to try the flavour and then buy a bottle. The staff it is nice the place ia beautiful but the wine purchase was disappointed and then after coming here before definitely not coming back
ANA M — Google review

Mauricio B — Google review
This place has a nice view and good structure. Visited it there with my family and it all started bad with the cashier, who also seems to be the manager there. She was extremely rude when we were picking the items we wanted and inquired about the extremely high cost of the wine glasses (yes, you have to buy the glasses).
Luiz D — Google review
Went here for a wine tour during the week. Did several other wine tours in the area over 1,5 weeks before. The company has become a typical example of a company growing too fast. Amongst other things this made it lose its authenticity. The tour guide sought no connection with the crowd and talks in a way someone would give a presentation in a primary school. Other employees are just at the company for work and do not really seem to care about their customers. It almost seems that the company scale increase made it lose just that which allowed it to grow: a good story; passionate people; a company that is actually working on a product instead of providing models "showing" the proces; and a tasting with a build in flavors instead of a mix. If you just want to be informed on a factory proces and taste some wine: go here. If you want to be guided through authentic companies by passionate people who do what they love: go elsewhere. There a plenty of companies in the area around Bento which are worth a visit. This could be on the same road, or in other areas like Faria Lemos.

The Catedral São João Batista in Santa Cruz do Sul is a stunning Gothic Catholic temple, considered the largest of its kind in South America. This beautiful cathedral, both inside and out, leaves visitors awe-struck with its grandeur and architectural splendor. (Translated by Google) The museum project is excellent, but preventive conservation is lacking in the new part in particular. I was received with great kindness and attention, but the visit could have been more interesting and interactive. The entire original proposal, which was to discuss bread in the history of humanity, ended up being limited to instruments used in the fields and models of other mills. The video, which was very interesting, was not shown. The interesting thing is that the winery now sells local products, which is a great step forward.

We were well attended at the reception and I can tell you that to see the museum's collection you have to pay R$2.00. Nothing much more than expected. Very well organized and clean. All care is taken to preserve the museum's pieces. With several rooms spread throughout the building, the museum holds a lot of the city's history and objects from ancient times, when it was far beyond today's technologies. It shows a lot of how the world has evolved, such as cameras, video gaimers, typewriters, time clocks, among other work tools. It is allowed to take photos and videos without touching the pieces ✋. It is great to go to see and see what old things were like, a pleasure to witness how easy things are today. It is good to go without children so you can read the stories of things calmly, just a tip. Right at the entrance is Mr. Olívio Otto's cane, which he used for a long time. A wax sculpture that he bought for the collection with the help of acquaintances and which is still there today. Dracula, a mummy, a war soldier, among others. Also a history of the Carazinho Club, which won the soccer championship. Atlético Carazinho and the Gloria team, both with trophies that are in the museum. (Original) Museu Olívio Otto . Minas de Wanda

Sights & Landmarks
Mine
Guided tours of a precious stone mine, with a souvenir shop & a park themed around Guarani myths.
Must seen place)) and still owned by Bosch family)
Jafar K — Google review
Had my own private tour guide who spoke English well. $6 USD entry fee in Dec 2024. Spent quite a bit of time in the mine because I am very interested. Really cool to see! But the polished rocks in the gift shop are more costly than back home (2-3 times more expensive) plus you’d have to carry them on your travels. Some fist size amethyst specimens, for example, are over $50 USD. Ouch. No thank you. I don’t have confidence that most of those rocks in the shop come from the mine, other than the amethyst and some citrine. There were some booths along the road I wish I checked out that may sell local specimens at a more reasonable price, but I ran out of time. Buffet lunch with drink for one person at the nice on-site restaurant was $23 USD plus tip. Worth it to check out! (Took away one star for the overblown prices in the shop).
R S — Google review
If you’re in the area, this is a nice, interesting place to stop but, because it’s such a short tour, don’t go too far out of your way. My guide spoke English so that helped a lot. The mines were very interesting and the jewelry in the gift shop is VERY beautiful - so be careful!
Mary Z — Google review
We visited the Wanda Mines early in the morning, crossing from Brazil into Argentina around 7 AM to avoid the border crowds. The drive took about an hour from the Brazilian side, passing through two small towns before reaching Wanda, a quiet community founded by Polish and German immigrants after World War II. The visit itself was surprisingly interesting. You get to see how the crystals—especially amethyst—are extracted directly from the rock, and mining operations are still active today. At the end, there’s a shop where they sell the stones taken from the mine, with plenty of beautiful pieces to choose from. Overall, it’s a pleasant and educational stop that takes about an hour and a half. If you’re already heading to the Argentinian side for sightseeing, it’s definitely worth the extra time to visit the mines as well.
Alper Y — Google review
The mines were OK. It takes about 5 minutes to go through the mines. You are told about the different rocks originating from the mine by the guide. There are food shops and a touristy souvenir shop close by. If you want to get cheaper souvenirs, without the touristy inflation, try going just outside the mines, the locals sometimes have stalls and sell things cheaper.

Interesting place. You can access the mines that are only at floor level. Nice collection of geodes. The are a nice restaurant close.

This was one of the first places we visited on our trip, and it was worth the drive. Gonzalo the tour guide, was incredibly patient with our son and did his best to include him throughout the visit. The gift shop at the end is lovely, if a little bit pricey considering we were at the mines.
Nathalie M — Google review
We are from the United States and really liked the mine tour. One of the guides speaks English which were were grateful for. He gave us a really nice tour. The shop is very nice with items at all price points. We hired a taxi from Puerto Iguazu who drove us to mine, waited, and returned us to Puerto Iguazu.

Iguazu Falls is a stunning natural wonder that captivates visitors with its immense beauty and power. Nestled within the lush landscapes of Iguazu National Park, this breathtaking site offers not only spectacular views of cascading waterfalls but also an opportunity to explore winding trails teeming with diverse wildlife, including jaguars and vibrant birds. The park's well-maintained facilities make it family-friendly, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.
In terms of nature, this was probably the best experience of my life! The walkway around the Devil’s Throat really lets you appreciate its power and noise. Prepare to get wet from the spray! Both the upper and lower trails are very well maintained and easy to complete with average fitness and mobility. If you only have time to complete one, then I’d recommend the lower trail. En route you’ll also see monkeys, amazing birds, and possibly a jaguar (if you’re very, very lucky). There are plenty of places for food & drink, plus toilets. The whole experience is very well managed.

An absolutely breathtaking place both from the Argentinan side and the Brazilian side. The boat ride was exhilarating I'd definitely recommend a visit, you will understand why it's one of the 7 natural wonders of the world., incredible.

Words can't describe... But I'll try anyway. Such incredible views, really really recommend the boat trip if you have time as well. Amazing tour guide for our adventure. The park itself has some beautiful and easy walking trails and of course the epic, stunning, amazing falls
Christopher A — Google review
We visited on the Brazilian side on the one day a year they have free entry (unbeknownst to us) so it was mobbed, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Beautiful, natural, and extremely powerful. Plus some interesting wildlife!

First time visiting here. Words, like the many photos and videos I took, don't do it justice. Words like wow, grandeur, incredible, breathtaking, only begin to highlight the vastness and the power displayed. Very organized by the administration, where five bus stops each begin different viewpoints. Frequency of busses are great. Paths and many scenic views are well maintained. Many people are there throughout the hours of operation. Large parking area. Cars also park outside the entrance for free, with an added < 1 km walk. Due to its immensity, prepare to walk! We walked along all the paths that we saw, and spent about 6 hours walking. Even with large crowds, it didn't distract from the beauty or the photo-ability. Parking was about US $11 per day. We bought a two-day pass for about $61. A one-day pass would have cost about $40.

Grand waterfalls not to be missed. Spanning across Argentina, Brazil, Paragray, it has hundreds of falls. The view on the Brazil side is the best but a bit far. The Argentina side is great for getting close to waterfalls and some trails.

Worth a visit. Expect to get wet from the spray if the falls. Bring a poncho or buy one. Buses take you to the falls from the park entrance.

Bodies of Water
Iguazu Falls, located at the convergence of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, is a breathtaking natural wonder that must be experienced in person. The falls are situated on the border between Brazil and Argentina, each country boasting its own National Park dedicated to this magnificent site. The name "Iguassu" originates from the Guarani language and translates to "large water."
Amazing waterfalls. The boat ride that can be taken from the Argentina side, is a must when visiting this place. Highly recommend visit. The trekking trails in the park are also quite good. But be careful as the weather can change very quickly. So carry an umbrella.

Definitely worth the hype! 100% recommend to visit the Argentine side on the first day (to “feel” it) and then visit the Brazilian side the next day (for the panoramic view).

Iguazu falls in Argentina side If compare with Brazil side You can see more animals here. Many routes for exploring that I like Devil throat and lower parts

Seeing Iguazu Falls for the first time was one of those moments that burns into your soul forever. As I stood there, the roar of the water pounding below, mist rising into the sky like a living spirit - I literally stopped breathing for a moment. It was so overwhelming, so breathtaking, that time just froze.

Cataratas del Iguazú are absolutely breathtaking. The sheer power of the falls, surrounded by lush rainforest and wildlife, makes the experience unforgettable. Both the Argentine and Brazilian sides offer stunning views, but the Garganta del Diablo is the true highlight. Well-organized trails, great photo spots, and a sense of awe at every turn—an essential destination.
Dani B — Google review
One of the most beautiful and impressive places I have ever seen! It’s just magnificent! A shame I only had the chance to visit it for a few hours, and stayed at the Brazilian side. The walk could take you about 1-2 hours depending on your pace, photos, souvenirs shopping, etc.

Iguazú National Park is a vast expanse that attracts over 1.5 million visitors annually. The park offers train rides to the impressive Iguazú Falls and features a visitor center with an exhibition. On the Argentine side of the falls, there are various walking trails, including the Sendero Verde path where you might spot capuchin monkeys. Additionally, there are accommodations like Awasi lodge and Yucuma Lodge that prioritize conservation efforts and support local communities.
This place is unreal!!! I highly recommend visiting both sides. The Brazilian side is smaller and will give you panoramic views. You have the ascend and a descend at times, but there's an elevator on the way up. The Argentinian side is much longer, flat, with both panoramic and closer views of the waterfalls. Be prepared to get wet, especially on the Argentinian part, where you will see and feel the power of the water. There are food and toilet facilities around, too.

One of the most natural exhilarating sights. Everything you read is true. Argentina Iguazu Falls is epic. Lots of walking so dress accordingly to keep cool. Take some snacks and a water. Wear sunscreen and hat. You may need bug spray. Make sure your phone and camera are fully charged for all the pictures you will take. Super easy to navigate the trails. You will see tons of wildlife and we took the jungle boat cruise instead of the trail or train. Don't miss this!

Visiting Iguaçu National Park was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. Standing before the waterfalls, I felt completely humbled by their sheer force and beauty. The thunder of the water echoed through the jungle, the mist kissed my face, and rainbows danced in the sunlight. It was impossible not to feel the energy of nature there — wild, breathtaking, and absolutely unforgettable.

We visited the Argentinian side of Iguazú Falls as part of a small group of ten people with a local guide. After a late breakfast at our hotel on the Brazilian side, we left around 7:10 AM. The border crossing was smooth and straightforward — no issues at all — and U.S. citizens on a day trip don’t need to bring an e-visa. We arrived at the Argentinian National Park just in time to catch the train that takes you to different trails and later to the boat area. The trails included the Devil’s Throat and several other breathtaking waterfalls. Seeing the power of 2.5 million cubic meters of water per second plunging into the gorge was absolutely mesmerizing — a humbling reminder of nature’s raw strength. One of the most magical parts of the visit was the butterflies. They were everywhere — bright, colorful, and unafraid. Many of them landed on us and stayed for a while as we walked or rode the train. It felt as if they were accompanying us through the trails, adding a gentle, dreamlike touch to the whole experience. The walkways were well maintained and easy to navigate, even in flip-flops. One thing to note: food inside the park is quite expensive — we paid about US $4.50 for a small coffee and US $13 for a hamburger, and the quality was just average. Bringing your own water is highly recommended. The boat ride was the highlight of the day. It was thrilling and completely safe, though at times it felt hard to breathe as we passed directly under the falls — you get soaked, but it’s unforgettable. Watching the waterfalls from below gave a whole new perspective of their power and beauty. Overall, it was a majestic experience — one of those once-in-a-lifetime sights. I’d strongly recommend the boat adventure on either side of the border, but we were told the Argentinian side offers the better experience, and after visiting, I completely agree.

There's no word, no photo or video to describe this place. It's one of those spectacular mother nature displays that you have to see it to believe it. We bought the 3-day pass online so we can explore every hiking trails. The 3-day pass gave us time to explore without feeling rushed. We practically spent about 6 hours daily at Iguazú National Park (INP). Wear comfortable shoes and definitely bring bug spray or they'll have a buffet on you! It's doable in 2 days, but it would have to be a full 8-hour day. We stopped to admire just about every waterfalls, animals, interesting plants, and rainbow we encountered. Kudos to the INP staff. They kept the park nice and clean, and there were plenty of signage. Most staff spoke good English. Oh, right before approaching the visitor center, there's usually a staff handing out a 10% discount coupon to one of the restaurants. We used the coupon daily for our lunch buffet. We also did the boat ride into the waterfalls. It was a blast! A MUST DO, albeit pricey. Buy your ticket a few days in advance because they were sold out on one of the days we had wanted. We bought our tickets online, and it was a simple process. Yes, you'll be soaked. If you're limited on time, both upper and lower falls are worth the time. Take the train (the fee is already included with INP entrance ticket) to explore both locations. Last, please don't feed the wild animals, no matter how cute they are :-).

Absolutely amazing day out. Lovely scenery and wildlife. Walks to the falls are exzilerating. We also did the crazy falls boat trip, which is a must, bring a change of clothes! 😁

Definitely a place to visit. You need two days minimum. Honestly two days and you will be blissed out on waterfalls. About 4 miles on the Brazilian side, 6-8 on the Argentinian side, and you’ll have seen the falls from every angle. And some interesting flora and fauna!

Wonderful park, well maintained. Friendly people and many things to see and do. Great experience. BUT: 1 star minus for way too high prices for food and drinks
