Data Asset Governance provides a knowledge base where you can view the solutions to common governance issues and check events. You can use the suggested solutions to resolve issues. This topic describes how to view solutions to governance issues and check events by using the knowledge base.
Background information
On the To-Do List page of Data Asset Governance, you can view governance issues related to the current tenant. You can click View Details for the current governance item to redirect to the knowledge base. Then, you can view the solution provided by Data Asset Governance to address the governance issue and quickly resolve the issue. For more information about governance issues, see Handle governance issues.
Usage notes
Data Asset Governance allows you to view check events and governance issues of the MaxCompute, E-MapReduce (EMR), and Hologres data sources. For information about the types of data sources to which each check event and governance item applies, check Applicable Data Source on the To-Do List page.
Before you can use a Hologres data source in Data Asset Governance, you must first collect metadata of Hologres in Data Map. For more information, see Metadata collection.
Hologres data sources are supported by Data Asset Governance only in the following regions: China (Beijing), China (Shanghai), China (Hangzhou), and China (Shenzhen).
View solutions to governance issues
In the left-side navigation pane, choose . On the Issues tab, you can select a dimension to view the basic information about the governance issues related to the selected dimension and the solutions. The following figure shows the information about the governance issues that belong to the R&D dimension.

1 | In this area, you can select the R&D, Storage, Computing, Quality, or Security dimension to view the solutions to the governance issues related to the selected dimension. You can also enter a keyword to search for a solution. |
2 | In this area, you can view the basic information about a governance issue from a specific dimension. The basic information includes the Title, Governance Object, Range, Description, and Associated Governance Items. Find a governance issue that you want to handle and click View Details in the Actions column to view the solution to the governance issue. You can follow the solution to quickly handle the issue. |
View solutions to check events
In the left-side navigation pane, choose . On the Check Item tab, you can select a dimension and view the basic information about the check events related to the selected dimension and the solutions. The following figure shows the information about the check events that belong to the R&D dimension.
