PR 130999 added the file_lock feature, but doesn't included OpenBSD in the supported targets (Tier 3 platform), leading to a compilation error ("try_lock() not supported").

I am keeping it in draft while my builds are running.
I need to first build beta with the fix in order to see if building nightly break.

I successfully build nightly with a beta release using this PR.

To resume:

  • file_lock feature didn't include OpenBSD in supported targets (it is Tier 3 platform)
  • the change landed in beta
  • the feature currently used to build nightly, which expose the problem to OpenBSD

I would like to ask the PR to be beta-nominated once landed in nightly

PR 130999 added the file_lock feature, but doesn't included OpenBSD in the supported targets (Tier 3 platform), leading to a compilation error ("try_lock() not supported").

I rebased the diff to more recent commit. The diff was tested on beta and nightly tarballs (what my build host is using)

@joshtriplett is it possible to add beta-nominated tag to this PR ? it will ease a lot for build 1.91 on OpenBSD as without it, 1.90 will not be able to build 1.91
