API Observation gives you the ability to find APIs your organization may have forgotten about and that pose a security risk because they are out of date, unsecured, or unmonitored. API Observation Shadow API Discovery finds these "shadow" APIs in your organization.
API Observation is part of Advanced API Security, which is a paid add-on to Apigee and hybrid and is also available for Google Cloud projects that are not provisioned for Apigee.
