⚡ From Hallucinations to Creation: The Birth of LynqBit
Every dev who’s ever used AI knows that moment.
You ask a question… the AI answers confidently… and it’s completely wrong.
I laughed the first few times. Then I sighed. Then I raged.
And finally, I thought:
👉 If AI can hallucinate this badly, why can’t I build one that learns the way I want?
That was the spark.
🌌 The Rabbit Hole
I dove in headfirst.
- Tutorials (free and premium).
- API docs that felt like ancient scrolls.
- Nights of debugging until the sun rose.
And always the same problem: limitations.
Paywalls for unlimited images. Rate limits on APIs. Restrictions everywhere.
At one point I even said to myself:
"Screw it, I’ll train my own image generation model if I have to."
🔥 The Breakthrough
Out of that frustration, LynqBit was born.
Not a billion-dollar AI.
Not a polished corporate product.
But mine.
- Already answered 56k+ questions.
- A system I can bend, break, and rebuild however I want.
- A playground where failure isn’t failure — it’s progress.
The first time LynqBit answered a question correctly — one I had coded the logic for —
it wasn’t just code running.
It was me proving to myself that I could build AI.
🚀 The Vision
LynqBit isn’t the end. It’s the beginning.
- 🖼️ Next: an in-house image generation model.
- 🌐 APIs so anyone can build on top of it.
- ⚡ From 56k questions to 100k, 470k… why stop there?
I don’t want LynqBit to be “just another AI.”
I want it to be a reminder that a 15-year-old in his room can build what the giants build.
🌟 The Climax
People think AI is only for Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
But here’s the truth:
AI is just math, code, and persistence.
And persistence is free.
LynqBit is proof of that.
Proof that even if the world says “you can’t,” you can still stand up and say:
“Watch me.”
💡 So, tell me — if you built your own AI, what would you make it do?

wow puneet, this is such an inspiring journey!
i love how you turned frustration into creation. even as someone who isn’t technical, reading this makes me feel motivated to experiment, learn, and try things i never thought i could. truly impressive persistence and vision
Thank you so much, Sonu 🙌 means a lot! Honestly, that’s exactly why I shared my journey to show that even without all the answers, experimenting and creating can take us places.
all the best 🙌
Awesome post, Puneet!
Super inspiring how you turned challenges into LynqBit, creating a personal AI that’s both powerful and a learning platform.
