What is the GED?

The GED is a high school equivalency test. The test is made up of 4 subjects. Once you pass, you will get your GED credential which is like a high school diploma. Nearly all colleges and universities in the U.S. as well as many in other countries accept GED graduates.
The GED exam is made up of 4 subjects, broken into separate exams:

• Mathematical Reasoning
• Reasoning Through Language Arts
• Social Studies
• Science.
  You don’t have to take all 4 exams at once – you can space them out and go at your own pace.

Can I Take the GED Online?

For exam security and to prevent cheating the exam cannot be taken online. You must appear in person at an official GED exam center to take the GED exam. However, you can find everything you need to prepare online.
