Sun UK recently hosted its Christmas lunch, giving the team a chance to celebrate the season and hear updates on business performance. EMEA Director Matteo Seghieri, Sun Germany Manager Matthias Gorka, and Sun UK Manager Chris Peacock joined the team and shared insights from across other European sites. To top it off, the team’s festive raffle raised £220, which will be donated to Save the Children. Oh, what fun it is to share a great meal, great company, and do a bit of good along the way! 😃

We’re excited to announce the launch of our newest Sun Common Cavity solution, the RBUY. This bi-directional, direct-acting, normally-closed pressure-limiting valve is engineered to protect hydraulic system components from pressure transients. Similar to the previously released RBUA, the RBUY fits an SC-10-02 cavity, offers a maximum operating pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), and delivers a capacity of 20 gpm (80 L/min.). The key differentiator is its 1.8:1 internal area differential, making it an excellent choice for clamping applications. Learn more about the RBUY and explore the full product details here: https://lnkd.in/eqpkimPC

Sun’s Managing Director MCT Americas, Steve Meislahn, recently had the pleasure of traveling to South Africa to spend time with our Sales Channel Partner Axiom Hydraulics (Pty) Ltd. While the visit focused on collaboration and strengthening our ongoing relationship, the timing also allowed participation in a unique team-building opportunity—the Wine2Whales, a three-day team stage race held just outside Cape Town. Racing alongside Axiom colleagues Eugene and Bernard, the experience highlighted the value of partnership, perseverance, and teamwork both on and off the course. #Teambuilding #Partnership

Last week, our Sun Hydraulics colleagues from Erkelenz, Germany, Bernd Zähe and Hasnat Mia, Managing Director of Sun Hydraulics & MCT, EMEA, Matteo Seghieri, and President of Sun Hydraulics & MCT, Rick Martich, met with RWTH Aachen University Vice Dean of Mechanical Engineering and head of the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Systems (ifas), Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Katharina Schmitz, and doctoral student and research associate Tobias Vonderbank. It was exciting to visit ifas at RWTH Aachen University, one of the world’s largest and best-known institutions in the field of fluid power and hear about the leading research being driven by faculty and students. Sun Hydraulics has a longstanding relationship with RWTH Aachen University that we look forward to growing as we work together to advance the field of fluid power in Europe and globally. We want to thank Prof. Dr. Schmitz and Tobias for their time, engaging conversation, and a great laboratory tour. #fluidpower #innovation #education
