We were honored to sponsor the annual Songwriting With: Soldiers holiday event in Austin this year and always enjoy the opportunity to experience the spirit of fellowship and creativity that exists in the room. The mission of SongwritingWith: Soldiers Soldiers is to help veterans heal, reconnect, and rediscover their creativity by using songwriting to reconnect with family, friends, and communities. The organization promotes songwriting as a catalyst for positive change and a unique way for participants to tell their stories, rebuild trust, release pain, and forge new bonds. As sponsors, we are supporting the organization’s ability to host three-day retreats and custom workshops that pair veterans, active-duty and military families with professional songwriters to turn their stories of service and returning home into song. This is a cause that is close to our hearts and our mission at PingWind as a Veteran Owned Small Business. Bill Townsend

We are #PingWindProud to support this annual event and this wonderful organization! Bill Townsend Brad Houston
The 2025 Austin Charity Event did not disappoint in bringing together an energized community for an evening of networking and purpose — all in support of SongwritingWith:Soldiers. By the end of the night, the group surpassed $60,000, thanks to a final challenge from the event organizer that pushed the room past the goal. Because of this generosity, the Austin community will once again sponsor a SongwritingWith:Soldiers retreat in 2026, just as they did this year in Colorado. We’re also excited to hear that plans are already underway for something special as the event celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2026! We’re grateful for this dedicated community whose support helps us continue serving veterans and sharing their stories through song. #SongwritingWithSoldiers #ThePowerOfBeingHeard Bruce M.

PingWind was recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor as a HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipient for the 4th consecutive year for our commitment to recruiting, employing, and retaining veterans. We’re proud to support Veterans and their career goals. The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is earned by businesses that demonstrate unparalleled commitment to attracting and retaining veterans. As a Veteran Owned Small Business, we place great emphasis and pride on our mission to hire and retain Veterans on both our leadership team and across all of our teams remotely. We consistently exceed the National benchmark of 5.2% for hiring Veterans and we maintain a high retention rate of Veterans hired due to our focus on developing and supporting these individuals once they join our team.
