Last month, at #COP30 in Belém, Brazil, we convened a diverse group of governmental, financial, and industrial stakeholders from various sectors and regions to accelerate capital mobilization toward an orderly transition. We also showcased our work on blended finance solutions, harnessing taxonomies for interoperability, climate adaptation finance, navigating carbon markets and pricing, and scaling nature-positive investments. Our key takeaways: ▶️ COP30 marked a pivotal moment by elevating adaptation and resilience to a central focus, recognizing that addressing climate impacts is as essential as reducing emissions. This reflects a broader, more balanced approach to climate action. ▶️ Multilateral development institutions are intensifying their commitment to a low-carbon future while broadening their efforts to include adaptation and nature-based solutions, leveraging innovative financial tools to manage risks and accelerate progress. ▶️ Financing nature and protecting vital ecosystems emerged as a top priority, highlighted by new initiatives and collaborative frameworks that unlock investment opportunities and set clear standards for sustainable impact. We remain committed to advancing these topics and driving meaningful action beyond COP30.

As the festive travel season approaches, a new wave of experiences is reshaping how we travel. While an impressive 78% of travelers are enrolled in airline loyalty programs, only 41% feel their program has gained value in the past year, with nearly half reporting no change at all. Despite strong enrollment, the perception of value is falling behind. Our research emphasizes that consumers are increasingly demanding connected, customizable experiences that prioritize convenience and control. This trend signals a shift in loyalty—it is now more about the quality of the entire journey rather than just the reward.

The dominant fear among OEMs, suppliers, and dealers isn’t market collapse, it’s not having the workforce in place to respond when demand returns.   According to the Construction Association's Workforce Survey Analysis, mechanics, cement masons followed by plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and welders were identified as hardest skilled labor positions to fill.    No matter where in the industrial goods ecosystem you’re positioned, many of the foundational elements of the industry that you’ve long relied on are now undergoing massive shifts: https://owy.mn/4ouU2p8
