From zero visibility to full control—fast. Facing a growing threat landscape, Everywhen and CISO Justyna L. needed to stop lateral movement and keep customer‑facing apps resilient. With BT’s managed services + Illumio Segmentation, they: 📍Mapped communications and dependencies, resulting in live application visibility in 3 months. 📍Enforced least‑privilege boundaries around crown‑jewel systems and put policy in production by month 6. 📍Delivered the rollout on time, on budget, and reduced ransomware blast radius. The outcome? Fewer disruptions. Faster response. Stronger resilience. Dive into the full story: 🔗 https://bit.ly/49U1TJg

Illumio Founder and CEO Andrew Rubin joined Secure Ventures with Kyle McNulty to discuss what it really takes to build a company that lasts. From keeping the customer's voice in the room to why persistence matters more than timing, Andrew shares lessons from the Illumio journey and his perspective on the future of cybersecurity. He also explains why the IPO window is a myth and how AI can help defenders change the math in security. Listen to the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gEvvs4d9
I get to talk to a lot of early-stage founders, so it's a special opportunity when I chat with a founder nearing an IPO. Andrew Rubin started Illumio over a decade ago, and the company has been a major success story. In the episode, we discuss how he discovered his love of the CEO role, why he thinks the concept of an "IPO window" is ridiculous, how he prioritizes "the voice of the customer", and more. One of his lines really stuck with me: "Most great companies are built over many years. They almost always go through both good and bad markets." Thanks Andrew!
