The former administrative space is now a warm, patient-centered environment featuring fourteen exam rooms, procedure and ultrasound spaces, and an NST area that supports a wide range of patient needs. Northwestern University’s updated Bioscience Teaching Labs introduce a clearer, more collaborative approach to undergraduate science learning. Each classroom is organized into four-person pods that strengthen teamwork, engagement, and movement throughout the space. Rooted in a “mise en place” design philosophy, the renovation enhances clarity, accessibility, and real-world readiness, while also supporting wellness and sustainability with a LEED Gold goal.
