CoFounder and CEO at Harbinger. We’re building the future of industrial manufacturing, onshore in the USA!

Good to be in D.C. last week to discuss partnerships with other industrial and defense tech companies. I enjoyed speaking on a panel with Sara A. Jones from IQT and Ryan Clinton from Ridgeline about why we need to rebuild American manufacturing capacity at the 2025 Ridgeline Summit. For Harbinger, that has meant developing deep capabilities in battery systems, electric powertrains, and full chassis engineering— and manufacturing all of it here in the USA. Being included in conversations about national infrastructure alongside people who've built their careers around mission-critical work is meaningful. Grateful for the clarity and perspective that veterans like Ryan bring to important conversations, and honored to join him during Veterans Day week.

Harbinger is honored to have been featured on the New York Stock Exchange screens celebrating our $160M Series C funding. When the NYSE recognizes a private company's milestone, it reflects a level of business maturity that few startups achieve. This moment represents years of detailed engineering, the strength of our vertical integration, and the confidence of investors such as FedEx, Capricorn Investment Group, and THOR Industries, Inc. who see Harbinger as a long term leader in medium duty electrification. Being featured on these screens reflects the ambitious path ahead as we continue to scale and transform 🇺🇸 American manufacturing for decades to come. #Harbinger | #NYSE | #SeriesC | #FleetElectrification | #MadeInUSA

This week of Veteran's Day, #Harbinger CEO John Henry Harris spoke on the panel Reindustrialization 2.0: A View from the Front Lines at Ridgeline’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C. John shared the panel with IQT's Sara A. Jones and was moderated by Harbinger board member and Ridgeline General Partner Ryan Clinton. The discussion centered on how American companies are rebuilding critical industrial and commercial infrastructure through electrification, advanced manufacturing, and vertically integrated technology. Harbinger is actively seeking out opportunities to assist companies in the defense and industrial sectors in meeting their missions by bringing U.S.-built powertrains, batteries, motors, and our medium-duty chassis platform into the conversation. An honor to join leaders like Ryan Clinton, a former U.S. Army captain, during Veterans Day week— and our sincerest thanks to all who have served, including the veterans here at Harbinger who continue to exemplify dedication, leadership, and service every day. CoFounder and CEO at Harbinger. We’re building the future of industrial manufacturing, onshore in the USA!

Very excited to share a huge milestone for Harbinger today. Harbinger has raised $160 million in our Series C funding round co-led by FedEx, Capricorn's Technology Impact Fund, and THOR Industries, Inc.. Along with the investment, FedEx has placed an initial order for 53 vehicles for delivery beginning later this year. The medium-duty EV market has been stuck in demonstration hell for two decades. Endless pilot programs with 5-10 trucks that never graduate to real fleet deployment. FedEx ordering 53 trucks isn’t just a pilot, it’s a real deployment within one of the world’s largest logistics networks in the world. What changed? It was never about technology readiness. The barrier was always price parity and proven durability. Fleets don’t buy trucks for sustainability reports. They buy trucks that actually work. FedEx put our vehicles through months of on-road testing. Harbinger’s trucks passed because our platform was engineered from the ground up for commercial duty, not converted from a diesel chassis. And for the first time, fleets can get that level of performance at acquisition parity with diesel. The reason we can do both comes down to vertical integration. We design and manufacture battery packs, drivetrains, chassis, and suspension in-house, here in America. Four years ago, that looked like a risky bet. Today, with tariffs reshaping supply chains every week, it's proving essential. You can't vertically integrate overnight when trade policy shifts. Thank you to all of our investors backing this vision, to our team at Harbinger who made it reality, and to FedEx for moving first on technology that works Read the press release here: https://lnkd.in/gifKgdYw

Today we announced a major milestone for Harbinger and the electric vehicle industry. FedEx has co-led our $160 million Series C investment round and placed an initial order of 53 electric trucks. Paul Melander, Senior Vice President of Safety and Transportation, FedEx, said: “This trifecta of performance, price, and operational resilience is what we need to be able to continue to scale. We look forward to bringing these Class 5 and 6 units into our fleet and seeing electric medium-duty trucking options—like what Harbinger is offering—become more accessible in the marketplace for commercial fleets of all sizes.” We are driving the next generation of medium-duty electric vehicles with a clean-sheet platform designed for optimized fleet performance. Our collaboration with FedEx demonstrates that this vision is already taking shape in the market. Read the press release here: https://lnkd.in/gn2qync5 Thank you to Capricorn Investment Group, THOR Industries, Inc., RidgelineTiger Global, Leitmotif, Maniv, Schematic Ventures, Overture Ventures, Ironspring Ventures, ArcTern Ventures, Litquidity, and the The Coca-Cola Company System Sustainability Fund, managed by Greycroft, for backing this vision. With this round, Harbinger has raised $358 million to date. #Harbinger | #SeriesC | #MediumdutyEV | #AmericanManufacturing
