AI has created a challenge of trust. While generative systems offer financial professionals extraordinary speed, they still can’t guarantee compliance or fully source their outputs. It's been a week to celebrate as we opened our new office space in Hong Kong! Chief of Asia-Pacific Moe Ali, General Counsel Laurence Herman, Head of Greater China Vivian Z., and Head of APAC Finance Pascale Dillon, GAICD joined GLGers and clients for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate. Since establishing our Hong Kong presence in 2005, we’ve been proud to support our clients and experts in the global commercial hub and across the Asia-Pacific. The new space will empower our teammates on the ground to continue driving strong partnerships, innovation, and success throughout the region. 

It was such a pleasure to be back in Singapore last week alongside Moe Ali and our talented APAC Leadership. Our clients across the fast-growing region have big ambitions, and GLG brings the irreplaceable power of human expertise to their decision making each and every day. Dr. Caleb R.S. McEntire became a GLG expert to share his passion for neurology. As it turns out, it's a subject that interests GLG clients, too – and our new mobile app makes connecting with them easier than ever. Since he started using the app, Dr. McEntire has been able to go through his project queue, fly through screening questionnaires with the help of his past answers and AI, and even schedule GLG calls during his morning commute to Mass General Hospital, where he treats patients with neurological diseases and studies emergent therapies. It's helped him find a rhythm, he tells us. He can focus on the front lines of his field in his day job, and then talk to leading investors and consultants about its distant horizons, all without skipping a beat. 🧠 💫 "It's the kind of thing I got into neurology for," he says, engaging with real-world problems and the people working to solve them. AI may primarily be an efficiency tool in the short term – but in the long run, it can be foundational to a company’s strategy.   That was one of the central takeaways from a recent event at GLG New York, where we welcomed clients, experts, and colleagues for an evening focused on AI’s continuing disruption of the investment space.  A big thank you to the experts who shared their insight in roundtables and a panel discussion, moderated by our own Nash Wedderburn, MBA: 👉 Tom L., former Head of Data Science at Advent International 👉 Cerwin M., former Global Head of Transformation – Technology at State Street 👉 Ben Reeves, former Chief Investment Officer at Wealthsimple.inc  The experts agreed that shrewd investors will recognize AI’s power to drive smarter decisions, stronger performance, and future value in years and decades – as well as the importance of human oversight and governance at every step of the way.  The evening closed with a lively happy hour to keep the conversations going.
