September at Cortland culminated in three days of our teams growing together and playing as a team at our bi-annual conference, Cortland Prime. Associates from across the country gathered to reconnect with each other, gain invaluable insights from our own leaders as well as inspirational keynote speakers, compete against each other in the Battle of the Cortland Stars, and celebrate Cortland's 20th anniversary. Cortland Prime is a testament to what is at the core of our company's culture: a group of skilled, talented, and dedicated individuals who come together to turn a vision into a reality and support each other every step of the way. We could not be more grateful to our volunteers who transformed empty ballrooms and lobbies into memorable experiences, to our speakers for the time they spent distilling their knowledge into meaningful presentations that left our associates feeling empowered, and to our teams who remained home to continue providing the best possible experience to our residents and guests. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, via its investment arm Property Reserve, has acquired the 384-unit Del Ola apartment complex at 7801 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton for $152.5 million, buying the 17-acre, garden-style development—including 19 three-story buildings and 435,852 sq ft—from New York-based Clarion Partners LLC and Atlanta-based Cortland. This pending acquisition demonstrates our ongoing dedication to growing our presence in high-growth, high-opportunity markets and delivering next-level apartment living to residents.
