Why on-the-water monitoring matters: · Helps stop illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing · Improves management of tuna stocks by verifying compliance with fishing regulations This is a big step toward a more transparent, traceable, and trustworthy seafood industry, and we are leading the way with our commitment to 100%!

In honor of World Oceans Day, we’re proud to spotlight our partnership with the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, a collaboration that embodies the mission of our SeaChange® 2030 sustainability program. Together, we’re advancing efforts to protect marine ecosystems and promote a more sustainable future. As part of this initiative, we’re excited to unveil Fiona, a life-sized leatherback sea turtle sculpture created by U.K. artist Katrina Slack. Constructed entirely from ghost gear (abandoned or discarded fishing equipment), Fiona serves as a striking reminder of the impact marine debris has on ocean life and the importance of traceable, responsibly managed fishing practices. Fiona now resides in the Aquarium at the Pittsburgh Zoo, where she will help educate and inspire visitors about how collective action can make a significant difference in the health of our oceans. #WorldOceansDay
