  • Women’s History Month is about honoring the trailblazers who inspire us, and today, we continue to celebrate the incredible women among our alumni family who are making a difference. Sabrina (Abrishamchian) Butera ‘07 graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2010. She moved to Nashville, TN, to launch her career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the world’s premier talent agencies. There, she gained invaluable expertise in identifying client needs, nurturing strong relationships, routing tours, and expanding her clients’ brand visibility. In early 2025, Sabrina left CAA and started her own Artist and Influencer Management Company, COLLIDE Talent. “I found myself at a pivotal moment in my career, faced with the choice of staying the course or taking a bold leap to bet on myself. Trusting my instincts, I decided to pivot, and after just two months, it’s clear that it was the right decision.” “I’ve spent my career building relationships and helping talent thrive, and now, with COLLIDE Talent, I’m excited to bring my vision of merging creativity with business development to life,” says Butera. “My focus is not just on managing careers, but also on forging impactful partnerships and driving long-term growth.” Sabrina has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of the music industry through initiatives like CAA’s THE HUBB, a career development and internship program for college students, and the ACM Level Up: Lifting Every Voice program, which empowers emerging leaders in country music. Sabrina will forever be grateful to Chaminade for the lifelong friendships it helped her build, the incredible opportunities it provided, and how it strengthened her faith. Above all, she will always be indebted to Brother Tom Fahy for introducing her to Berklee College of Music, a life-changing moment that shaped her future. Go Eagles! Sabrina resides in Nashville, TN, with her husband and 3 children. #WomensHistoryMonth #nadealumni

  • This Women’s History Month, we’re spotlighting some incredible alumni who are breaking barriers, leading with purpose, and making a lasting impact. Julie (Lopez) Carty ’06 started Light Ahead LLC, her parent company that has the goal of helping parents both figuratively and literally see the light ahead. As a mother, Julie understands the exhaustion of parenthood and the impact of even the smallest frustrations when already running on empty as a parent. Her first product is Latch Light, which helps mothers navigate the stressful nights of infant feeding. She hopes to continue to create products that make life a little easier for parents when they need it most. Julie says that being a woman-owned business is about perseverance, innovation, and proving that when women create solutions for other women, the impact is real. Light Ahead was recently recognized by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. Check out www.shoplatchlight.com to learn more.

  • We kicked off February with a Black History Month Alumni Panel at the high school. Several amazing alumni returned to share their journeys after high school, offering valuable insights, advice, and inspiration to our current students. It was a powerful conversation about resilience, success, and the importance of community. A big thank you to our Diversity Team for co-hosting this event and creating space for such meaningful dialogue. #nadealumni #BlackHistoryMonth #AlumniPanel #DiversityAndInclusion #CommunityInspiration
