Alpha is helping States implement Federal Highway Administration’s new Specifications for the National Bridge Inventory (SNBI), incorporated by reference into the updated 2022 National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). The SNBI completely reimagines the 1995 Coding Guide, and is required to be used by States to collect National Bridge Inventory (NBI) data beginning no later than January 1, 2026. We have talked to many states who are still working to update their internal Coding Guides and inspection practices to meet the new requirements of the NBIS and SNBI. Alpha’s Subject Matter Experts, Earl Dubin and Samantha Lubkin, have the tools to support your DOT, no matter what stage of the process you find yourself in. Earl is teaching 2-day training courses for Virginia Department of Transportation Districts designed for inspectors and inspection program managers to support this transition. Samantha is working with Maryland Transportation Authority to validate SNBI-based coding and streamline their data collection efforts. How can we support your efforts to implement the SNBI? Contact us!  https://lnkd.in/eQQjyJis
