University Library building survey
A comprehensive measured building survey of the University Library building will be carried out over the next few weeks by Pell Frischmann, starting on Monday 8th September.
This survey will cover all public and staff spaces and will produce detailed scans of the internal space to identify structural elements (e.g. columns).
The surveyors will use spinning cameras to capture the images and will ensure that people's faces are blurred out of the images.
This work will be carried out as swiftly as possible with as little disruption to those working in the public spaces as possible.
This is part of the University's Reshaping our Estate programme, to produce a Site Spatial Framework for how we can make best use of the University Library building and site, and how such changes might be phased and funded over time.
