Amazing museum dedicated to one of the most famous architects you will ever come across in Brazil. The museum is very well done and has sufficient reading material as well as displays. Some of the art is interactive and some of it is historical artifacts. There is a lot of modern art and some art from people from Curitiba. The parts of the museum that showcase Niemeyer’s accomplishments are particularly cool, especially if you’ve traveled around and seen some of his works.
It’s a nice museum and a real Curitiba’s postcard, however the exhibition wasn’t good, I was expecting more for the most famous museum in town. I’m glad I didn’t pay. Usually on Wednesday the entry is free 10am-6pm
Amazing building. African and Asian exhibitions were well curated and very engaging. Loved that museum goers were invited to create their own art out of materials similar to those used in the exhibition. Museum store needs some work.
An interesting display of various artists in a beautiful setting. The “eye” room is amazing. Well worth a visit.
I expected more from the museum. The sculptures are ok, the space is very pretty and overall it's ok. The only thing I didn't like was the internal security team. Some of them are a bit rude when dealing with customers. Attention.
This famous museum is on every city tour. The architecture of the museum building is impressive, especially the adjacent building known as The Eye, which is quite stunning. There are wide open picnic spaces and grounds for walking and hanging out with friends. There are admission fees to enter the buildings to see the exhibits.
A must see when visiting Curitiba! Great museum with a good cafe as well.
Clean, organized, well air-conditioned. Stunning view! Could be better: the „Free WiFi“ needs a registration which is only in Portuguese to get the English texts inside of the museum.

Very beautiful park area complete with fountains, water features, small waterfall, and a terrace that offers breathtaking views of neighbouring hills. Well maintained flower display. Open walking spaces are suitable for exercising, picnics, and photography. Plenty of parking spaces.
A lovely park with some picturesque points. Well kept with beautiful views.
One of the most beautiful parks I've been to. Seeing the sunset from it was an unforgettable experience.
Wonderful park, fantastic views, a lovely place to see with your loved ones.
Amazing place to relax. You can do an small hiking, walk, take beautiful pictures and also eat. May I add it has a great view for an amazing sunsets. 10/10.
It's wonderful to see how an old quarry has been transformed into this magical park. It's a landmark and example for other countries to follow the same. A serene place and very calm. A good place to visit.
If you're going to visit the Tanguá Park, be already for the tons of beauties expecting for you there! I watched to the sunset and personally this was one of the greatest experiences in my life!
Must-see park, one of my favorites in the city! Gorgeous views from above and below.

Santa Felicidade is a lively Italian enclave packed with restaurants serving classic pasta dishes and pizzas, along with gourmet food stores selling charcuterie, cheese, and wine. The place is quite spacious, so it's best to arrive early to fully explore the entire garden. It's a popular and beautiful spot in Curitiba, with numerous picturesque locations throughout. Capybaras are abundant and incredibly cute, adding to the charm of the experience. The sunset view is absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to return. If you're considering it, don’t hesitate—it's definitely worth the visit!
My favorite park. I didn't know I liked capybaras until I saw so many here! They're very cute. Also relaxing swans, hawks, vultures, and other birds who aren't so scared of humans so they let you come real close to take photos (but not too close!). So calm
Very beautiful and calm park, plenty of benches to sit on, places to have a picnic. The river is very calm and relatively clean. The sunset in this park is beautiful. There are different species of animals in this park, it is worth the walk in this park.
Amazing Beautiful Park, lots of paved walkways for the elderly, designated bike and run paths, and workout equipment. Last but not least the real reason why anyone goes here, is to see Curitiba's mascot, the world famous Capivaras that tend to be everywhere around the lake and grassy areas. You have to pay $2 bucks for the bathroom, which is kind of crazy since it a city park, but thats what is, bathroom are far apart, so beware with your water intake.
Great park, with plenty green areas, and free fresh air. Remember to not touch the capibaras and give them space, is their habitat :)
Park Barigui is such a nice experience. It is very well kept and seeing the capybaras up close was a dream come true. They are a little skittish now as they have gained popularity so don’t expect to cuddle one as they move away. I also went during the birthday celebration for the city of Curitiba so there was lots of noise from live music and more people than maybe there is usually so that could have been a contributing factor. Still worth hanging out with the capys though.
Beautiful well kept and safe to walk around, great wildlife (birds, capybara, turtles)
Great place to have a picnic, to see the sunset, to visit the capibaras, to run, go for a bike ride, do some exercise and have fun.

Fantastic local market only on Sundays until 14:00. I would highly recommend tourists to visit Curitiba, breaking up the journey between Sao Paolo & Florianoplis.
Nice experience, the capybara pastel was the highlight and incredibly delicious but I will not be back in a hurry to the market anytime too. I feel the things are over priced here
"The Largo da Ordem Fair takes place every Sunday in the historic sector of Curitiba, with more than a thousand exhibitors and receives around 25 thousand visitors every weekend. In addition to handicrafts, the fair also offers a wide variety of foods, such as typical Paraná, organic products, and musical and theatrical performances. Over the years, the fair has become an important space for coexistence and cultural exchange, bringing together people from different origins and social classes in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Furthermore, it also has established itself as a space for valuing local culture, offering visibility and opportunities for artists and artisans in the region."
A must-visit experience in Curitiba. Sundays morning
Great for a family outing for a Sunday morning. Various crafts, toys, music, food - something for all age groups to enjoy. Also a good time to visit The surrounding museums
(Translated by Google) The market takes place on Sundays, from 9 am to 2 pm. It's located in Largo da Ordem, between São Francisco and Trajano Reis streets. There are about eight hundred stalls, with carts, wooden swings, cosmetics, tapestries, jewelry, keychains, hats, embroidery, household items, oil paintings, ceramics, and many other items. In practice, it's a huge market, and the prices are, almost entirely, quite high. A 'traditional' pastel, with chicken, beef, or cheese, costing R$14.00 seems ridiculous to me. And if it's any other flavor, the price climbs to an unthinkable R$24.00!!! Is that fair price? Only if it's a fair in Switzerland. It's worth a visit, but it's absolutely recommended to be wary of the sly vendors. Well, if some people are willing to open their wallets and pay, the vendor isn't the one in the wrong, don't you agree? There are also four food courts on Trajano Reis, Ermelino de Leão, and Jaime Reis Streets, and next to Bebedouro. They offer cookies, honey and honey products, sandwiches, sugarcane juice, savory snacks, and pastries. All quite expensive and inconsistent with the quality delivered to the consumer.

Highly recommend visiting this opera theatre, which also acts as a concert function centre suitable for different types of events. Large open-air theatre with excellent acoustics, stunning natural scenery surroundings including water features and lots of trees. Great restaurant and bar downstairs and live music performances are regular. Admission fees were cheap, only 15 reals.
On weekends, the entrance fee is R$25,00 — with half-price tickets available for local residents and seniors. In addition to visiting the iconic Ópera de Arame, you can also explore the new Music Street, a vibrant gastronomic space with a variety of great restaurants. Don’t forget to take a stroll through the beautiful Jaime Lerner Park, which surrounds the area and offers an inviting natural setting for your visit.
It's a really beautiful place with fantastic events but unless you happen to attend one of them or want to eat at the restaurant, the only thing you can do there is take a couple of pictures.
Nice place to visit, but does not fit the description of preserving the endangered species of flora at all. It is more decorative artchitetucte than functional for the purpose of a botanical garden. Cute little chicks everywhere...
It is an outstanding place where you can go with your family! The building is superb and the lake surrounding it makes everything even better! And it's not all, there's yet a restaurant with a great service, for the case you feel like ordering some meal.
Wonderful place to visit, enjoy good music with coffee at Opera Art Cafeteria and to visit on concerts. The lake has been cleaned and although there is no visible fish in the pond, the oxygenated water makes it cleaner than it used to be 3 years ago. The Covid protocol is sustained and efficient.
Small to visit. Everything remains closed except the bridge if there's no concert going on. All you can see is in the pictures. I do recommend the parks of Curtiba instead of this place if you don't have much time to visit the city.
There was a graduation ceremony when we arrived there. The audiotorium is a unique building made of glass and steel. We paid an entrance fee. This area hosts lots of concerts, ceremonies, theatre plays. At the base there is a cafe serves beverages and food. There was a live music, the stage was moving back and forth from the deck.

A beautiful woodland area with a cobblestone footpath. Lots of beautiful plants and a Hansel and Gretel house for the children There is also some places with stunning views of Curitiba. Not for those with walking difficulties as it is steep with lots of stairs. In the church there is a display showing a bit of Germany. Usually there is an art exhibition as well. Must try the churros from the van parked at the front
The German Wood was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had! That place is magic! If you got toddiers it can be a educational place to go for the stories by the book Hänsel & Gretel ( Grimm Brothers) are all spread around and you can getting close to the story tale end by the walking toward til the end of the trail.
It's a different park, not so big, but with a dense forest. The view deck is closed due restoration, but you can still walk in the path and read the João and Maria story, visit the German cafe Erika and the Witch's House where there are some activities for children sometimes. They have the German Portal too.
Good place to walk with kids, be prepared to walk a little. There is a trail with the Hansel and Gretel story. And in the middle of course has a pleasant house/library with storytelling by a which. At the end, a nice place to relax and play with kids
It connects with the other bosque but will be available in 3 months from this posting. You cannot enter but the front gate is beautiful
A great place to eat, to draw, to meditate, and to dream. Take a walk in the Hansel and Gretel trail, listen to stories at the Witch’s house and eat German cakes at Erika. One of my favorite spots in Curitiba.
Sweet park with a German theme, as well as “witches” in costume throughout the forest! Great way to spend the afternoon.
It's a nice place to visit, but I don't consider there a "must go". There is a trek, telling the story of Hansel and Gretel while you walk through it, that leads you to the house of a witch. Nice place to go with the kids.

Loved this beautiful Ukrainian church memorial. Interesting architecture that is eye-catching, lovely surrounding green space with colourful flowers, trees with special local breed of monkeys, wide grassy fields, and impressive display of Ukrainian orthodox relics.
No dogs allowed and the only place to buy water is at the Ukrainian church. Otherwise it is a nice park. We did not see any capybaras.
Park very well maintained. Great for a walk, family picnic or getting in touch with nature. Suggest bringing an insect repellent.
Wonderful place to visit and enjoy the cultural difference. The tiny art on eggs is incredible and so is the wood buildings handcrafted.
It’s a very nice park to walk with dogs. Very clean and well taken care of. It’s not crowded like Barigui. It’s worth a visit.
A beautiful place to visit, with lots of Nature. Even more beautiful during Christmas time.
Beautiful park with a really cute Historical Center section design like an old Scandinavian Church!
I went there expecting to see good views and buildings which in the end I even did so, however I've learned so much about Ukranian Genocide with the informations avaliable indoors of the attraction, and it was something shocking and remarkable for me!

Large and welcoming shopping mall, inside there is a museum that you don't have to pay to enter. The restaurants are on the ground floor and there is a coworking space upstairs.
Very classic shopping center it was before train terminal and they change it to the shopping mall. They have a museum on it. Very nice restaurant panorama roof. Very nice shopping area. They have cinema and coworker. Space gym open till 11 PM. Parking station play areas find restaurants and more and more.
Beautiful shopping mall. Lots of food options and very close to the university. There is a cool museum on one end of the mall that I recommend seeing.
A mall in Curitiba's old train (and/or bus?) station. Malls are mostly dead in the United States but Estação Shopping is full of life...and has the largest food court I've ever seen.
A great mall! There are lots of activities for children. During the Christmas season they have an attraction you can walk thru with beautiful decorations and a Santa you take pictures with. The mall has an attached parking deck. The store and restaurant selections are good.
Nice shopping center 🚂 You feel like you are in the train 🚂 The stores are good 😊 But the price is high 🙁
The most different mall I've ever visit. Trains, water bows? It's a reality here!
Lots of good food options. Good places for the kids to play. But the downstairs bathrooms were horrific. At least the men's. It was packed, the men's stalls showed that the toilet bowls apparently repell urine. That's the only explanation I have for how much of the toilets were covered in pee. And the smell was awful. I would compare the smell to a particularly full portapotty on a hot, summers day, but that would be unfair to the portapotty. The smell in this bathroom was far worse.

You need to make a reservation on their website prior to the visit. Entrance is free. The educational side is really strong and it gives you a lot of historic information. Took almost two hours to see everything. No pictures are allowed once you're inside.
The staff was fantastic...exhibits were great...best use of technology in any museum I have been to...major problem was they limit your time in the museum to about 1hr....that is about the amout of time if you interact with the exhibits to experience about 3 rooms....this was my hardest museum to review because it was near perfect on all aspects. Except for the time limit which I think defeats the purpose of a museum which is to educate
Traveled over 80 countries in this world I exaggerate but certainly 1000 museums in this world entered and for this small museum you need a registration before? To learn, to inform people? So that history does not repeat itself? But then to be surprised when it repeats itself... No museum can be so important. In a city where international tourists come only for the train and then make an extra long walk here. Shame on you! Btw take a look what happens in Germany right now and think twice about your opening policy. Or later dont wonder o/a complain and say *you should have known...(how 😉?)
They tell a short story of Brazilians that were in the Holocaust. Only 1 mezuzah outside which goes against the Torah’s writings. Employees are somewhat rude. Make sure to schedule your visit in advance.
Best I can do is 271k
Raising awareness for antisemitism and discrimination. This museum usually receives groups of students that are conducted by very attentive and resourceful museum guides. It was renovated and amplified in 2019. Thumbs up. #neveragain #notoantisemitism
Requires reservations. I highly recommend asking for a guided tour - they have awesome mediators, and that made the experience all more remarkable!

Very cool little gem in the middle of the city
One of the best features of this park is its variety of habitats—from wooded areas to open meadows and small ponds. It’s a great place for birdwatching, and I often spot different species depending on the season. Nature lovers will really enjoy exploring here.

What a lovely city. I have been to many places in Europe and the USA and Brazil, but must say, we loved it. We want to retire here. It's green, modern, old, rich and poor and has everything we need, and it's safe. Love it!
If visiting just for the history then not worth the trip, but if coming for a restaurant or bar then interesting place to visit.
Very charming place with a lot of locomotion.
I was fortunate to be staying just a few blocks away so I got walk through here every day a couple of times. This is a very beautiful part of town.
It is nice place to visit at the daylight for family, people told us that at night it becomes more crowded. It has some European style on the building.
Love this place! One of the best places in the city for locals arts and crafts! Lots if places for food and drinks.
Historical part of downtown Curitiba with many pubs and eateries nearby. You will certainly find something for your taste here. On sundays, there's a great farmer's market here that is also worth a visit.
Beautiful place to go on Sunday morning. Curitiba is the best city in the whole world.
