We've seen first had that the smartest TA leaders use December to get ahead. Here are the moves they focus on before switching off for the holidays. 1. Finalise January pipelines so they start the year already ahead by tightening shortlists, confirming candidate availability for early January and keep warm the people they don’t want to lose over the break. 2. Wrap up open roles so nothing drags into Q1. They close or progress anything that can still move, tidy ATS data and remove dead roles so they start January with a clean slate. 3. Check in with hiring managers to reset expectations for the new year by aligning on priorities, timelines and non-negotiables now so there are no surprises when everyone returns after the break. 4. Review agency and partner performance to decide who stays on the roster. They look at fill rates, quality and communication to decide who is actually adding value and who needs replacing and who needs to be brought on in the new year. 5. Map upcoming headcount so they know where the pressure points will be in Q1. They confirm approved roles, likely changes and potential risks so they can plan resource, budget and workload before things speed up again. Let's make the most of the last month of 2025!

Last night, we came together to run 5k, spread awareness and raise money for Movember 🏃 Whilst running with cold faces and frozen fingers, we thought about those who struggle daily, those who are no longer with us, and the families who carry the memories of their loved ones with them daily.
