Why is it that work feels more real when it’s printed? I write content for websites, emails and blogs almost daily. Yet, when I held my first edition of the CMS magazine in my hands it felt like the most real thing I’ve written in years. I am not solely responsible for this 20 page mag. But, I am the proud editor. I have a few things on my career wish list: writing a weekly column is close to the top, along with publishing a book. But, being a magazine editor has always been up there. ✍ I’m feeling proud today. Of myself, of the team who produce this magazine and of the people inside the pages... 🗣️ There’s a story of a Bishop who spoke so profoundly about peace and forgiveness that someone who was due to be executed walked free ⭐ There’s a woman who had to leave her own family and country because she was brave enough to choose to follow Jesus. She now courageously helps others to make their own choices about faith 📉 There’s news of Drs reducing infant mortality rates 🩷 Children defying the odds of conflict in the DRC 🚴♂️ A man planning to cycle 5,000kms in memory of his father It’s a good’un. You can read all of these stories and more on Church Mission Society website https://lnkd.in/ek472TPQ (And, you can hire me to write for your magazine, website, emails.😍)

Thank You, Dan and Phillipa As Dan and Phillipa Munday conclude their time as mission associates - having first gone to Nepal as mission partners - we want to say a heartfelt thank you for all their faithful years with CMS. While Phillipa’s work has impacted countless young lives, Dan’s pioneering efforts in rural palliative care have laid vital foundations for long-term support across Nepal. Please join us in praying: - For rest and renewal in this transition season - For Dan, who is currently taking a gap year, that it would be a time of refreshing and listening - For discernment as they seek how best to continue using their skills and experience in the future. We’re so thankful for all they’ve given and all they’ve built.
