Thank you all for your patience this year. I really appreciate everyone who has sent supportive messages or even just generally acknowledged they're respectfully and patiently waiting for an update on, particularly, the Trainer Card Maker.
I can finally confirm that the Trainer Card Maker will be returning in early October, in time for the release of Pokemon Legends Z-A.
Both the Modern and Legacy card styles will return with all existing functionality and assets, with one caveat: we will no longer be hosting the saved images. You will still be able to share a link to the card and you can still easily download the card once you've finished and then upload it wherever you wish.
The Legacy card style has also finally been updated with all remaining Generation 9 Pokemon from the Scarlet & Violet DLCs, and both card styles will feature all currently announced Mega Evolutions from Legends Z-A. Unannounced Mega Evolutions will be added as soon as reasonably possible, but there's a pretty strong chance that it will not be immediately after the game's release so please bear with us on that.
In the next few weeks we'll be asking people to help us give the new Trainer Card Maker a solid test before we release it publicly. If you would like to help us with that, please join or return to our Discord server and click the Robot reaction in the #be-a-beta-tester channel to sign up. More information will follow in about a week or so.
