So, I'm trying to start a VM remotely on a server located on my local network (Headless Debian 12) using another PC with Debian and Virt-manager installed.

I have successfully connected to the server using virt-manager and created a VM. After starting it, I can indeed see the BIOS "no bootable device" message but the openssh password prompt keeps showing up no matter how many times I enter the password. That makes the VM practically useless since I can't do anything while that password prompt is present.

I have already checked the previous threads for a similar issue. Link ((KVM) virt-manager stuck in password prompt after open VM).

Still, when changing the display spice configuration type from spice server to VNC server like one of the people suggested in that thread I get a pop up saying

Error changing VM configuration: unsupported configuration: chardev 'spicevmc' not supported without spice graphics

Also, when changing the address from local host only to All interfaces I get an error

Encountered spice error connect: could not connect to "server": socket I/O timed out

I would be extremely grateful if someone smarter than me could help me out here. I'm pretty new. If needed i will provide screenshots.
