Project Objective

Canteen management system will able to provide fast services to their customers by using their records which has been saved previously. However new records can be added any time whenever any customers visited to their canteen shop. To identify the customers each customers will be provided with their customer id and during data entering process all their basic information’s will be added into the file in the binary format.

Each customer will be provided with smart card and each smart card will have a unique number by which system will easily able to identify their customers and prepare their bills for the services which they have taken. It will also help the canteen shop admin to identify such customers whose payment has not been cleared till date. Admin will have the facility what are the items which are available at their shop at particular time and what is the exact quantity of any particular item.

As customers will also able to check their account status, services which they have taken and bills which they paid and due amount details, if there is any for their account. Details section will also make their customers updated regarding business hours of the canteen.

Existing System

Existing system does not allow customers to know their payment details and about their due payment within the canteen. In this system admin does not have the facility to update or make changes to any information and also not having facility to add, modify or delete any services which are being provided within their canteen. As admin do not have the facility of knowing what quantity is available for particular product or services which are being available within their shop, they do not able to make quick action by which it can make their big loss for their daily business transactions.

Proposed System

The current system will allow their users to know what items are available under their canteen shop and in what quantity they are available. 

At the mean time customers are also provided with option of purchasing the particular item. If the customer enter the yes option, then they can enter the number of quantity for each product and at the end they will able to get the bills for the items which they have purchased and finally backup their purchased items from the pickup center. Thus admin will only having the responsibility to check the final bills and provide better services to their new and existing customers.

Computer Shop Management System Project

 

 

Project Objective

A computer shop management system sells various types of hardware and software accessories such as Laptop, Antivirus and Keyboard etc. It’s very hard for the shopkeeper to remember their cost price and in what price these items to be sold. As the market goes up and down for various products daily, so there should be some proper medium through which prices of these items can be changed frequently without any problem. There are many customers who will make their payment online, so there should be a medium to take their credit card as input and reduce exact amount from their account. This computer shop management system will enable its user’s keep their customers report secure, so that next time these customers when arrive to their shop, do not have to enter their details again. Buyers will also able to select products options while purchasing through computer screen and can make their payment from that particular screen and pick up their materials which they have selected at the pickup center within the shop.

Existing System

Existing computer shop management system only having the potential to perform processing task for limited section. In this system shopkeeper have to enter customer’s report every time whenever they visited their shop. There was no any medium to find the customers record using any unique key or customers id. If the records of any items is to be revised, then search operation is performed to find the item and make updation. Stock report and making query on daily selling reports was not possible. It was not possible by the shopkeeper to track which salesman was responsible to sell particular product and what price and time. The present system was not able to make balance sheet, only the daily transaction was saved in the file, which was sended to the charted accountant office to prepare balance sheet which is again not secure with respect to the customer’s details. As product identification was done only using the particular product serial number, thus problem in identifying which product has been solved.

Proposed System

In this proposed computer shop management system all the requirements has been added which makes the computer shopkeeper to perform all their tasks by their own such as knowing details of daily transactions, preparing balance sheet and knowing stock details of each products under their shop by just one click. Each customers will have a unique bill id, customer id and product id along with the description of product such as model number, name, number of quantities, price of each product, total price along with the date and time. Each working member within the shop will have unique id which will help the shopkeeper to know who has made how much transaction in their shop. Customers will get a secure gateway method by which they can make their payment using their credit and debit card. To make bills and perform other transaction within the shop each working member will have unique id and password. Using these id, system will able to identify which person is having the admin responsibility and which person has assigned which task that he or she can performed.

LIC Database project using C++

 

 

Project Abstract

LIC Database system will help both customers and their agents to know about the current policies and enabling customers to select policies as per their choice. To start this projects, users have to just run the project and its user friendly menu items will help both its customers and agents to handle this LIC database management system easily. Whenever you run the program, it will start with loading screen as below:

Whenever loading completes, the next screen will be the LIC welcome screen where they are given choice to select the correct options as per their need.

If you want to go the customer section then you have to select its option and if you want to be logged in as agent of LIC Database system then you have been provided with other option. These options are entered at the current cursor position and after which its screen will be appear, where they will required to enter their id to use their particular account. Existing customers will able to check their policy details under which they have made investment.

Existing System

Existing LIC Database system do not provide facility to select the particular policy by going through each policy details. Customers has to be dependent on agent to get details on particular policy. While taking any particular policy, customers do not able to get information what will be the minimum installment to be made and in what mode. Agent are also not able to check their account any time as per their requirement and the details of customers who have taken policy from them along with their policy maturity date. The present system do not provide the correct medium for the agents to know their commissions which has been made while selling any particular policy. Also the present system do not uses the concept of OOP’S by which changes can be made easily to any particular section within the program code easily.

The current system stored all data in particular file in the binary format which is not able to read by others. Its command prompt will not able its users to know about the background details thus providing the feature of extra security and reliability. Customers will have the option to review any policy as per their choice and select particular policy if they like it. Each customers and agent will have unique id by which they will able to check their account at any time.

Salary management system project

 

 

Project Objective

Salary management system will not responsible to calculate salary of employees working within particular organization but it will also able to perform other management activities which is required to perform their accounting operations for a particular organization such as maintain attendance of working employees, preparing pay slips and pay sheets for the employees and for other business transactions etc. This system will able to perform salary processing task and prepares monthly salary report for each employees. Accountant do not have to perform much activities in order to maintain ledger and preparing balance sheet as this system has been provided with features that can perform accounting operations with few steps such as automatic deductions of salary based of customer attendance, adding incentives and bonus to employees salary account, making tax deduction on some predefined rules. This system will also provide its admin to get details on list of employees who are on leave and their joining date. As each processing work will used different file system and file system will act as central database to maintain data integrity and reduce redundancy. Thus system has been embedded with two facilities under one common platform that means salary management system will able to acts as employee information system and salary management system.

Existing System

Previous salary management system works on manual system, so the system was not able to perform different activities at one time. Each department have to look after different activities, thus integrating information by collecting data from different department was not an easy task. Providing payroll solutions by the accounting department for the particular organization was not an easy task such as making analysis and generating reports on that basis, employee’s reports and statutory reporting was time consuming process. Working employees were also not satisfied from their payment statement, as not providing clear figure for their working wages. The most important feature which was lacking in the previous system was file processing which may sometimes results in disputes between working department and delay in rectifying the errors between working department of a particular organization.

Proposed System

Under this new system all working departments will able to share information between each other and able to work on same data thus eliminating the need of keeping records in different files, so enabling the features of data integrity and eliminating redundancy. Current system will eliminate the need of sending working sheets for final auditing to outside financial agencies in order to prepare final balance sheet. This system will easily able to provide information on each working employees on various modules such as about their attendance and leave information, their extra earnings, deductions including taxes, loans etc. Even this new system using the concept of graphics will able to generate graphical reports on the basis of financial reports and user query.

Phone Directory System project in C++

 

 

Project Objective

This system is developed using the general need required by the user while using the phone directory book. In order to keep updated the phone book directory, the admin will have the authority to add and delete as well as modify the existing records within the phone book directory. The users of the directory will only have the authority to search any particular record and listing details of all available records. Admin will have the authority to perform various operations such as add customer records, search any particular record, delete record, modify existing record etc. To provide the search result within short interval of time optimized search algorithm code has been used which will able to provide the results within seconds. To make all operations as easier as possible, user friendly approach has been taken into account by which users have to only give their answer during final confirmation to make their operations successful. The background processing system will take care of all processing task and maintain data integrity in order to reduce the redundancy of data. For searching operation, users will able to get any particular record using their contact or phone number but the only condition is that, customers record must be available within the file system. If no such record will be available, proper error message will be displayed as per user input provided to the system.

Existing System

Customer need more convenient way to get their required results in proper time. In today’s era where technology plays a vital role in each person life, they are bound to use the old fashioned manual book to search any particular record. Even the publishers have to print the new records in their new volume and published each year. Customers always gets irritated to pay amount for new volume in each year. Even searching process of particular record is also one big problem for the customers, they have to first go through the index page to details on alphabetical letter and after that they have to go through the various pages using page number to get their desired results which also a time consuming process.

Proposed System

Under this new system all the functionality has been added to meet the customer requirements in just few seconds. To provide the desired result on time, binary search method has been used to produce results on minimal time. As customers do not have to purchase new volumes each year and even they do not have to wait for the new year to get updated records. As the new customers details will be updated by the admin side, so users will able to get updated information each time. To eliminate data redundancy and perform validation process background codes by the class will responsible to do this task. If admin will make any mistake while entering they will be given a warning along with correction which is required to be made. It will also guide the customers to use this system in convenient manner through its graphical screen.
