China Guangzhou - The 51st China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) recently opened grandly, covering an exhibition area of 700,000 square meters with about 4,000 participating brands. Smart home emerged as the biggest highlight, with high-tech products like smart mattresses, intelligent office equipment, and gaming chairs attracting significant attention. The "Smart Sleep Ecosystem" pavilion combined three major themes: intelligence, ecology, and elderly care, with the "Deep Sleep Cabin" experience area being particularly noteworthy. This technology, which provided sleep support for Winter Olympics athletes, can help users fall asleep in as little as 5 minutes.

Haier Smart Home's elderly-friendly bedroom solution also drew considerable attention. Its fall detection system uses wireless sensors to monitor seniors' status, immediately alerting through smart speakers and notifying family members in case of a fall. "This function is much needed," commented Ms. Li, an exhibition visitor.

Smart mattresses became a competitive focus, with manufacturers introducing innovative features like vibration massage, snoring intervention, and vital signs monitoring. Although smart home technology is still in its early stages in China, exhibitors are optimistic about its prospects and actively investing in this sector.
根据《扩大内需战略规划纲要(2022-2035年)》，中国政府将大力支持智能家居产业发展。国信证券预测，未来五年智能家居市场将以21.4%的复合增长率快速增长，到2025年市场规模有望达8000亿元。
According to the "Strategic Plan for Expanding Domestic Demand (2022-2035)", the Chinese government will strongly support the development of the smart home industry. Guosen Securities predicts that the smart home market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 21.4% over the next five years, potentially reaching 800 billion yuan by 2025.
