Yunnan Large-leaf Tea's Unique Advantages
Yunnan large-leaf tea belongs to the arbor type, mainly growing in sub-alpine areas at 1000-1400 meters and alpine areas above 1400 meters. These areas are mostly lateritic red soil regions with abundant rainfall, long frost-free periods, and year-round mist, forming a unique ecological environment where "high mountains and mist produce excellent tea".
据研究,云南大叶种茶具有水浸出物48.75%、茶多酚32.5%、儿茶素总量179.34毫克/克的优异指标,远高于小叶种茶叶。这种丰富的内含物质使晒青毛茶味道浓酽,但通过自然陈化后,会变得醇和可口。
Research shows that Yunnan large-leaf tea has excellent indicators: water extract 48.75%, tea polyphenols 32.5%, and total catechins 179.34 mg/g, far exceeding small-leaf varieties. These rich contents make sun-dried green tea taste strong and bitter, but become mellow and pleasant after natural aging.

1973年,吴啓英先生注意到传统普洱茶存在陈化时间长、品质不稳定等问题。经过深入研究,她创新性地提出"普洱茶湿水渥堆技术",将漫长的自然发酵过程缩短至45天左右。
Challenges and Breakthroughs in Traditional Pu-erh Tea
In 1973, Ms. Wu Qiying noticed problems with traditional Pu-erh tea including long aging time and unstable quality. After in-depth research, she innovatively proposed the "wet piling fermentation technology for Pu-erh tea", reducing the lengthy natural fermentation process to about 45 days.
