| i've been storing attributes as an object this whole time --- maybe the solution here is to typehint the intended return value of SerializerAbstract::attributes as array? |

| Yeah, SerializerAbstract::attributes is meant to return an array. (Not that I can blame you for that, the source code/documentation is a mess at the moment!) |
