| Nice, very subtle catch. I've opened a related pull request on the code so that it'll scream (with an exception) if the user specifies the template key without an id (symfony/symfony#197) - I don't like the "silent failure" that the code currently allows. So, thanks for reporting and fixing this. |

There was a missing ID tag in the configuration example. Without it the template is not getting loaded.
