Walkthrough

A database insertion step was added to the internal logic of the createInvites function. This step uses a bulk operation to insert multiple invite records into the invite table, ensuring no duplicates are created. The function's external interface and error handling remain unchanged.

Changes

File(s) Change Summary
packages/web/src/actions.ts Added bulk database insertion (prisma.invite.createMany) for invites within createInvites.
CHANGELOG.md Added a "Fixed" entry documenting a fix for invites not being persisted despite success message.

Poem

In the warren where invites grow,
A bunny hops, emails in tow.
With one swift leap, records appear,
Duplicates vanish—none to fear!
The burrow’s full, the list is neat,
New friends await, the circle’s complete.

The entry duplicates the section header’s wording (“Fixed issue”), making it slightly redundant. Consider rephrasing to imperative mood for brevity and consistency:

- Fixed issue where invites appeared to be created successfully, but were not actually being created in the database. [#359](https://github.com/sourcebot-dev/sourcebot/pull/359) + Ensure invites are persisted to the database when created. [#359](https://github.com/sourcebot-dev/sourcebot/pull/359)
