We can't hand curate the current amount of issues anymore, so we should probably add a bot that marks old inactive issues as stale and closes them.

There's a simple github integration by the Github actions folks:

It requires a GITHUB_TOKEN, so I could provide our @ra-bot to take responsibility for that (otherwise your private github handle name will show up on the automated messages).

As soon as this is in place, we should probably have another look on the closed issues if there's anything obvious that needs to be reopened.
