This adds tests from #98389 with merge conflicts fixed and applied suggestions. I have not added staggered tests as new staggered tests already exists.

Closes #98388

In the PEP 8, style guide, we limit all lines to a maximum of 79 characters.

(EDIT: Removed loud and redundant screenshot image.)

In the PEP 8, style guide, we limit all lines to a maximum of 79 characters.

Let's not do that here. The style guide is voluntary, not mandatory, and in particular the suggested line length limit is often ignored in favor of clarity and/or consistency.

LGTM. Let's ignore the suggestion of breaking long-ish lines.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Buildbot failure ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Hi! The buildbot s390x RHEL9 Refleaks 3.x (tier-3) has failed when building commit 0240ef4.

What do you need to do:

  1. Don't panic.
  2. Check the buildbot page in the devguide if you don't know what the buildbots are or how they work.
  3. Go to the page of the buildbot that failed (https://buildbot.python.org/#/builders/1589/builds/1783) and take a look at the build logs.
  4. Check if the failure is related to this commit (0240ef4) or if it is a false positive.
  5. If the failure is related to this commit, please, reflect that on the issue and make a new Pull Request with a fix.

You can take a look at the buildbot page here:

https://buildbot.python.org/#/builders/1589/builds/1783

Failed tests:

  • test.test_multiprocessing_fork.test_processes

Failed subtests:

  • test_interrupt - test.test_multiprocessing_fork.test_processes.WithProcessesTestProcess.test_interrupt

Summary of the results of the build (if available):
