@xjacka I tried the change in your PR with litellm and it still results in a different (related) error. I think additional changes would be needed, not just that line.

To test

• pip install litellm in a venv with openai
• then run the following python script

import litellm response = litellm.completion(model="gpt-4o-mini", messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Hello, how are you?"}]) print(response)

with openai v1.99.9

Assuming you have exported OPENAI_API_KEY, the code works, and a result is returned ModelResponse(id='... etc.

with openai v1.100.0 and v1.100.1
