| Any update on the mentioned "process of re-writing"? It is still failing for me, and has been since I reported #17282. Shouldn't we be keeping at least one of these issues open to reflect reality? |
| @pewscorner It's being actively worked on, but because of how things got structured it has to be turned on simultaneously with the pytest rewrite. |

This is a temporary solution. We are in the process of re-writing the test code runner to provide better progress and status updates.
