Why do I always get this error whenever I push to github?

The page build failed with the following error: CNAME already taken: cookbook.logstash.net For information on troubleshooting Jekyll see: https://help.github.com/articles/using-jekyll-with-pages#troubleshooting If you have any questions please contact us at https://github.com/contact.

You can ignore that.
the cookbook site doesn't use gh-pages system for a long time because it was broken.
@jordansissel will build the cookbook site manually after the PR is merged.

and because the branch name in your own repo is gh-pages as well it tries to build it but can't because the cname is already configured :-)
