This PR adds a new test file (samples.spec.ts), and updates other project files so that Playwright can run. There's one test that just determines whether the page has successfully loaded. This PR also contains numerous changes to other files, a veritable kitchen sink of the tweaking I have been doing. Apologies that I didn't bother to sort these all out in a sensible way. Also there are some files that should not be there (.DS_Store, not sure how I managed to do that).
I was able to get the tests to successfully run on my local computer.
