Air-gapped installations are crucial in order for self-hosted to be a valid choice for corporations. We need to enable an Installation to be successful when there is only a connection to the cluster is available. Clusters may also be isolated from the internet and other data sources meaning that they may only be able to get their container images from a specific container registry with credentials
