The Global Free-Running Counter Unit (GFRC) implements a 64-bit free-running global real-time counter that can be used as a central timing reference when multiple cores are under different clock domains.

Similarly to IDU this block might be used in UP (Uni-Processor) system so might be implemented and tested in existing setups.
