My name is Eduardo Ascarrunz. I'm a second-year bioinformatics master's student at Université Paris-Saclay, in Évry France. I also have a background in systematic biology, zoology, and evolution.
I want to work with researchers in the life sciences to help them make use of the bioinformatics tools that suit their projects, and to develop and maintain tools and infrastructure.
Currently, I am doing an internship at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), in Montpellier. I am developing a Nextflow workflow for the detection of adenosine to inosine RNA edits from RNA-Seq data.
