Summary

How might we simplify the configuration of the deployment template so that it is not overwhelming for new users?

Motivation

The deployment template has a plethora of configurations, all of which may not be relevant to a user for most use-cases.
Rather it might be overwhelming for new users who are not familiar with Kubernetes or YAML format.

Proposal

• Identify a set of configurations from the deployment template which serve most of the use cases.
• Make this minimum set configurable via a GUI experience (instead of YAML).
• For advanced use cases allow users to switch to YAML view.
