Ubuntu precise installation

Hello defunkt, im installing into a fresh installed ruby enviroment in ubuntu precise, this file is needed to be changed .

I had to do another tricky thing, after copied to /usr/local/bin/ i had to add the line:

require 'rubygems'

before
require 'gist'

[isomorphisms]

In Lubuntu 12.04, I was able to install following your directions on the frontpage except:

$ sudo cp /var/lib/gems/1.8/bin/gist /usr/local/bin/

The first link is more like /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/gist3.1.0/bin/gist and the file is already in /usr/local/bin.
