How to run pg_timetable without password

sure. You can use $PGTT_PGPASSWORD environment variable, e.g.

$> PGTT_PGPASSWORD=mystrongkungfu pg_timetable postgresql://user@10.0.0.1/mydatabase

When I run it this way, it works.
pg_timetable -c goperf postgresql://postgres:$PGTT_PGPASSWORD@localhost/postgres

That way, the password appears in the processes.
The visibility of the password in .pgpass and processes is a problem in security vulnerabilities.

How can I get over this?

Hello,

it sounds like a problem with network environment. Are you running in docker? Can this be an issue?

Another guess would be IPv4 vs IPv6 mess. pg_tt tries to connect to IPv6 localhost [::1]:5432, is it enabled? Can you try 127.0.0.1 instead?
