The product is very cool, and I was happy that there is a way to specify repository rules. However, it is a bit unfortunate that (as far as I can tell) it can only be specified via UI (per https://docs.codegen.com/settings/repo-rules).

I would suggest two things:

• allow specifying them via a file in the repo (.codegenrules or CODEGEN.md or some such)
• ideally, also support such files from other LLM-based coding tools - .windsurfrules for windsurf, CLAUDE.md from claude code, etc.

I imagine many users (including myself) will be using this in conjunction with more "hands-on" tools like Windsurf and Claude Code and it would be great not to have to repeat the rules in many places and try to keep them in sync
