The `global.d.ts` file can be used for more than "beginner TypeScript developer" hand-holding. In fact, the latter is something that should probably be discouraged :-)

global.d.tsfile can be used for more than "beginner TypeScript developer" hand-holding. In fact, the latter is something that should probably be discouraged :-)I updated the document to include a use case for compile-time constants when using Webpack, and also tidied up some related information.
