The ZonBook checklist validator has trouble with some kinds of emojis, so best practice is to not include any emojis in code snippets. One of the emojis in the updated snippets in this PR was causing the checklist validator to fail, so I've removed them all.
I also removed the duplicate snippet-start/-end tags from the metadata.md files because duplicate tags cause somewhat non-deterministic selection of which snippet is associated with a specific tag.
