How to obtain advanced Open Shell Menu log

  • In registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\OpenShell\StartMenu\Settings
  • Create new DWORD item named LogCategories with value 0xfff
  • Replicate the issue (click on Start button to show Open-Shell menu)
  • There should be %LOCALAPPDATA%\OpenShell\StartMenuLog.txt file created
  • Attach it to GitHub issue
