Description
Describe the bug
I downloaded the latest version of open shell ( v4.4.190 ) and as of 12/9/25 I've found out trying to customize either the taskbar or customizing the start button won't open at all when clicking besides making sound.
For the taskbar it won't even let me change the color settings and just stick to the default windows 11 taskbar settings and along with putting a different file for the texture won't open files or even type in anything.
For button it's only been doing the same thing too (besides color setting it doesn't have that)
Ive been some other reports about the same thing and even before reading i thought it was just my laptop (windows 11) not being compatible anymore to openshell :(
Area of issue
Taskbar
To reproduce
BUTTON:
- press start menu style
- select custom on replace start button
- press pick image
( after those steps it'll load for a few seconds until it just doesn't pop up files)
OTHER: - press start button
- select custom button
- press button image
( after those steps it'll do the same thing}
TASKBAR:
- select taskbar
- select customize taskbar
- select any setting of opaque, transparent, glass or tweaking the capacity or colors.
- press taskbar texture
(After those steps texture popup for files won't show instead it makes sound + when exiting and opening up it still doesn't show for even colors or capacity)
Expected behavior
I expected to customize either the taskbar or start button to any image file or even typing the url thing so it can be set, so far it hasn't.
