I'm worried that saying "not an official supported Google project" might cause some users to think that this isn't a "Google" project at all, which isn't true. maybe we can say something like this instead:
container-diff is a Google project, but is not currently being officially supported by Google and is in maintenance mode. However, contributions are still welcome!
