I am Wissam Sayssouk, an Electrical Engineer and Ph.D. in Automatic, currently Head of the Electrical Engineering Specialization at ESIGELEC, France.
I completed my doctoral studies between the Université de Haute Alsace (UHA) in Mulhouse and ONERA in Toulouse. I also hold a Master’s degree in Systems, Control and Information Technologies from Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) (2021).
In my current role at ESIGELEC, I am responsible for:
- Updating and maintaining an up-to-date curriculum aligned with industry needs and academic standards
- Encouraging students participation in international programs, internships, and research activities
- Inviting industry experts to share practical insights and bridge the gap between academia and industry
- Teaching in the areas of control systems, electrical engineering, and power engineering
- Responsible of multiple projects at the university
My expertise lies at the intersection of control theory, autonomous systems, and electrical engineering, with a strong focus on power conversion, electrical systems, and control system design.
